This is my first card with the Tea Shoppe stamp set found in the Occasions Mini Catalog. My grandmother, born in 1912, inherited a lovely collection of tea cups from her mother born in the 1880's. Many of these cups have "Prussia" stamped on the bottom so I know they are pretty old since Prussia doesn't even exist anymore! Anyway, when Grandma passed away a couple of years ago, I inherited this lovely and very fragile collection of tea cups. I have a special cabinet that I keep them in purchased in the 19-teens by my grandma's dad just for these special collectibles. It's really a treasure in our family and every one of those cups has been used by my girls and I when we have mother daughter tea parties. Can you see why I wanted to purchased this stamp set? And, how perfect that SU also came out with a Doily Die to put our stamped tea cup on!! I just love how SU seems to think of everything!
Have a wonderful day and I hope you make time for a tea party soon! (Or at least get one stamped . . . lol!) OH . . . and I almost forgot! Today is the last day of the Clearance Rack Blitz. Link Below!
