Mary Bellis, a demonstrator in my group who joined up with us during Sale-a-bration, volunteered to lead our Anything Spring Theme with a Demo Project and this is what she surprised and delighted us with! It’s such a pretty and precious decoration, that I had to take several picture of it so you could truly appreciate all of its beauty! Above, you can see the cuteness straight on.

We decorated our Styrofoam eggs with various die cuts, punches and ribbons. All we needed to hold the embellishments in place were pins. How easy is that??

And, one more view from the top down. The punches we used . . . BoHo Blossoms and a Scallop Circle Punch (or die). We also used the biggest butterfly from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit and the Little Leaves Sizzlit. The ribbons on this example were Baja Breeze Pleated Ribbon and the Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon. Mary had pink options available, too, which were also super cute. Thank You so much, Mary, it’s a delight to watch you jump into Stampin’ Up! sharing your joy and enthusiasm with all of us!

Our Swap Theme, Anything Spring, had a lot of Easter entries. I thought I would show them off first since Easter is right around the corner!! Linda Watson made the cute card above with the Occasions Mini stamp set called Heaven Blessed and used markers to color the images.

Lynn Miller swapped this darling card with us. She took the bird punch and cut it to fit inside an egg. All she needed was a dot for the eye and it’s just cute, cute, cute!!

Angie Lunden used the stamp set Everybunny to make this little quickie! Love the way she used the Top Note die cut.

This card, by Judy Owens, was not actually part of our Swap. But, I wanted to share the story behind it. Judy is celebrating her One Year Anniversary with Stampin’ Up! Unfortunately, most of that year she has been dealing with cancer and all of the aggressive treatments that go along with it. BUT, joyful news, she is feeling better and has been venturing into her craft room again and once again is finding ways to share her love of stamping with others. When I got this card in the mail, it brought tears to my eyes and I just had to share it with all of you. Judy used the Framelits, the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and the stamp set called He Is Risen to create this card.

And, this basket, also not part of the swap but definitely a part of our meeting fun, was created and shared by Irene Boesen. Irene has such a giving soul . . . it’s not surprising that she was our “Queen for the Day” at our meeting! She was inspired by projects she saw on Stampin’ Connection, our demo only site for ideas, inspiration and camaraderie. I just loved that she presented it to me in a cello bag . . . just like the really big ones you see at the stores!

With the cello off, you can see all the detail that went into this. It’s really quite tiny . . . but very, very cute!! Thank you, Irene!! It’s amazing and I love it!

Stay tuned for more fun swaps with an Anything Spring Theme. Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!
