We had a wonderful swap session at our last demonstrator meeting using stamp sets that have just made their debut in our most recent SU catalog. Dorene Bye, participating for the first time in a swap, created the Christmas card above that showcases the stamp set Chock-Full of Cheer along with the coordinating DSP called Be of Good Cheer.

Katherine Narog, inspired by Diana Gibbs, showcases the stamp set called Betsy’s Blossoms in this Clean and Simple card. She used Floral District DSP. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Fabulous Phrases.

Karen Larson, one of the lucky ones to receive this stamp set before SU removed it from their store due to unforeseen legal issues, created a cute Shop On Card with the hostess set “Carry On.” Too bad it’s no longer available as I know this would have been popular with our hostesses! The patterned paper on her card is from Floral District.

Debby Filiowich used “Make a Cake” and “Itty Bitty Banners” for this card. The little pennant flags that are not part of the Patio Party DSP were stamped with the discontinued stamp set called, “Send Me Soaring” from the Spring Occasions Mini Catalog. Such a clean, fresh looking card!

Dawn Michels used the new In Colors Summer Starfruit and Raspberry Ripple to create her card. I like that she paired it with Pool Party . . . that’s a striking combination! She picked the new stamp set called Papaya Collage to work with.

Cindy Standal created a whole new look for the stamp set called Betsy’s Blossoms. She used calming colors . . . Sahara Sand, Whisper White and new In Color Midnight Muse to create this beautiful clean and simple card. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Chris Glebus tuned to the hostess set called “Summer Afternoon” to make this cute card that she cased from Sandy Mathis. The DSP that she used is called Comfort Cafe . . . a place I would love to spend an afternoon at! I just love that name!!

Cathy Hobbs decided to explore the combination of stamps created to match one of our newest sets of Framelit Dies. The stamp set is called Layered Labels and it coordinates with the Apothecary Accents Framelit Dies. A clean and simple card that says it all!

Sue McNeill used the stamp set called Bright Blossoms for her card and it also has a coordinating paper pack that goes with called Summer Smooches. You’ve got to like a paper with name like that!! I’d like to meet the “name giver” at SU. Makes me curious what they’ve named their children and pets! lol! The sentiment on this card is from Loving Thoughts.

Mary Kiley used Betsy’s Blossoms and the coordinating wheel called Betsy’s Blooms to make this card. The sentiment is from the stamp set called, “Layered Labels” which coordinates with Apothecary Accents Framelits and the Large Oval Punch. The bloom makes a great backdrop for this sentiment!

Mary Bellis also used Betsy’s Blossoms making the bloom the absolute highlight on this card! She used Gumball Green Ribbon, ink and paper along with Midnight Muse and Primrose Petals. I’m loving that color combination.

Liz Michels used a small strip of Floral District Designer Series Paper to accent her large flower with the sentiment from Pretty Postage. She created the flower with Blossom Petals Builder Punch. What a cute idea to use your sentiment as the center of your flower!

Linda Watson was so creative with the way she used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch to make her layered mat background pieces. So very clever!! The sentiment is from the new stamp set called Forever with You. She also showcased new In Colors on her card . . . Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit and Gumball Green.

I hope you’ve enjoyed the cards from our last Demo Meeting Swap! I feel so blessed to be surrounded by women who love what they do and share what they love!
