8/8 Stampin' Up! Perfectly Preserved 12x12 Scrapbook Pages

It's time to scrapbook again! My next class is on Thursday, August 23 and one of the two page spreads that we will make will be this one. It's so much fun to dig into our Holiday Mini Catalog and start using awesome new papers, stamp sets and Big Shot items. August is "fair time" in Minnesota with the State Fair being "The Great Minnesota Get Together." A huge thank you to one of my downline members, Mary Bellis for all the inspiration she provided to me so that I could make these pages for you. Visit Mary at her blog, "Marvelous Possibilities."

This stamp image is actually out of our annual catalog and it is from the stamp set called, "Blue Ribbon." What I like about it? There are different ribbon centers that my customers will be able to use to customize their page. I used "Best"  . . . but you could also pick, "Happy Birthday" (nice pages for a fall birthday party!), "#1", "The Winner," and "Cograts Grad."

One of the new stamps in our Holiday Mini is called "Perfectly Preserved." Noticed how perfectly it is cut out? That's because this stamp set has a coordinating set of framelits called "Cannery Set" that can be purchased with it! I'm in heaven!! And . . . check out the paper piercing!! Another new item in our Holiday Mini - the "Festive" Paper Piercing Pack, one of which coordinates with the Window Frame Framelit Dies. It's all so, so good!!

Here's the cute little four square decoration (2" squares) accenting the right page. The patterned paper is all from the new paper pack called Orchard Harvest. One of the paper sheets looks like cross-stitch . . . thus the cross-stitch hoop and thread in the first box. Then we have our ear corn and apple stack and finally, my favorite pattern in the whole pack . . . a lovely square of colorful lines and stitching accented with a tiny flower.

I do so hope my customers will be as excited about these pages as I am . . . can you tell I am over the moon about them? I love county fairs and fall and even though I don't "can" . . . I appreciate the friends and family who do and gift me with their preservation talents! (I'm thinking especially of you, Dar, and that lovely cherry jam! Thank you!)

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by my Stamping to Share blog today!!
