11/7 Stampin' Up! Teeny Tiny Wishes Wreath

I actually made this card back in August and used it at a couple of my customer events. Then I set it aside and completely forgot about it! Oops! So, I'm a little late posting it . . . but it's probably a bit more timely now than it would have been in August anyway.

I already know you will ask me what size the "panels" are on the door so I will share . . . all four panels are cut at 1 3/4" x 2 1/2" and then sponged with Early Espresso. I know the top panels on the picture "look" like they are shorter, but it's an optical illusion as they truly are all the same size.

I used Candlelight Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Mini for both wreaths. The wreaths start with a strip of the DSP cut at 1"x12" and they are scored every 1/4". I accordion folded them and then used hot to glue "bind" them. You can see this binding technique in a couple of my utube videos . . . but the clearest example is probably HERE.

The center pieces of the wreath are layers of Shimmer Paper cute with the 1 1/4" Scallop Circle Punch. Then there is a 3/4" Circle Punch in Real Red or Early Espresso. Then a button with pearl or an In Color Dalia to top it off. The little door knob is popped up on a dimensional and was created using the 1/2" Circle Punch and a brad.

The sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso onto scraps of Gumball Green or Real Red and punched out with the Word Window Punch.

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

Kay, love your projects! In fact, I've been drawn to your site on more than one occasion. I plan to feature a few of your things in some of my Trendy Tuesday posts for Paper Crafters Library (the posts will link back to your blog)! The posts will probably be on Nov 13 & 27.
