12/4 Daydream Medallion Christmas Tags

 At my last Big Shot Class . . . my customers got to make a gorgeous Poinsettia Flower. Of course, I didn't come up with something this beautiful all by myself! The credit goes to Julie Edmonds. THANK YOU, Julie!! You can find her flowers HERE. I modified her design just a bit by adding an extra layer . . . which probably makes it look a little less like a poinsettia, but I liked the fullness of it just a bit better. My red flower is created with Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green and Champagne Glimmer paper. 

Here is a close up of the white flower I made. I used VersaMark stamped onto Shimmery White card stock and then embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. Each layer is popped up on dimensionals. I used gold brads on the very top layer for a beautiful center accent. The Always Artichoke leaves are cut with the Autumn Accents die and then I just free-handed the veins running through them with my Bone Folder. If you didn't want to make this a "tag," you could just as easily turn it into an ornament.

 This is the back side of the tag. I used a straight edge and a bone folder to make a crease on a plain flower shape and glued the top portion to the bottom just above the crease line.

 

 Here is a view of the inside of the tag . . . plenty of room to write a message!
