1/31 Stampin' Up! Valentine Favor with Heart Framelit Dies

This cute little Valentine favor is so quick and easy to make when you use our Hearts Collection Framelit Dies. I had a workshop last week where the ladies all enjoyed making this and today my Big Shot Class attendees will get a turn. I found that if you cut the ribbon to 9 1/2", it is the perfect length to tape down, yet still left enough room to hang your favor around a standard door knob. It also wasn't so long that it still didn't look cute on a smaller knob like one you'd find on a cupboard. The candies were attached with mini glue dots and are showing no signs of coming off based on my sample which I've had hanging around now for about a week.

One tip . . . I double stacked my Stampin' Dimensionals below the Regal Rose layer so that there was enough room for the ribbon which is quite thick as it is taped down over the top of itself on the red layer.

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for dropping by Stamping to Share!

1/30 Stampin' Up! Doily Banner & Open House Pictures

When I was at Leadership, one of the displays had a magnificent banner made with the Big Shot machine and the new Paper Doily Die. I tried to recreate it for my Open House that I had last week. I really like how it turned out. And, outside of poking out all the little pieces, it was easy and fairly quick to make. Before I get too far down into this post, I'll give you my supply list.

Paper: Crumb Cake (120953), Whisper White (100730), Poppy Parade (119793)
Tools: Big Shot Machine (113439), Scallop Circle Die (113468), Paper Doily Die (125592), Simple Letter Alphabet Dies (115960)
Accessories: White Baker's Twine (124262)
Adhesives: Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the part of the circle that is wrapped around the Baker's Twine (104430)

This is the display I used the banner on . . . all kinds of swap samples from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

1/29 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Big Shot Banner

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to share a banner I made for my Stamping to Share Studio. I was inspired by the colors in Everyday Enchantment . . . Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Soft Suede and Calypso Coral. It was a blast to make . . . quick and easy!

I adhered the banner to my wall with Mini Glue Dots, but don't worry, my wallpaper has a bit of a shiny texture so the glue dots don't mess it up! I actually use glue dots a lot when it comes to putting things up on my walls! lol! (oops, maybe don't mention that to my husband!)

Below the banner, I have a display of swap cards, all of which feature Sale-a-bration sets. I scattered some bright designer buttons and a few candy coins.

Have a great day and thanks so much for dropping by my blog today!

1/28 Stampin' Up! Love & Laughter

I just love how this wedding card turned out.  It was kind of a happy accident. I had been making some cutouts with the Framelit Label Dies and I noticed that the negative space made kind of a neat design. I decided to pair it up with Attic Boutique Designer Series Paper along with the Love and Laughter stamp set and this is what happened . . . a beautiful wedding card! The more I use this wedding set, the more I love it. The cake can be made with heart or a flower topper. I picked the flower topper and used little tiny pearls to accent the centers of the flowers. I also used the new Large Basic Pearls for the first time . . . wow . . . so much fun! And, they really accentuated  the curves in background. To finish it off perfectly . . . a big fluffy bow!

Have a great weekend and thanks so much for dropping by my Stamping to Share blog today. I appreciate the visit!

1/25 Stampin' Up! Rue Des Fleurs

This was one of my Leadership Swaps. It uses the stamp set from the Occasions Mini called Rue Des Fleurs. I love the umbrella with the watches and the cute verse that can be stamped on the inside. As you see it says "Thanks" on the outside and on the inside it says, "For Watching Over Me." LOVE that!!

I stamped the umbrella on scrap to cut a second one out and popped it up over the first one with Stampin' dimensionals . . . it really looks neat IRL. The ribbon that is Stampin' Up's Blue Jean Denim Ribbon. I was impressed by how easy it was to work with and it looks really awesome with Very Vanilla, Night of Navy and Soft Suede. 1/24 Stampin' Up! Outlined Occasions

The card I created above is one I used swapping . . . in an organized swap and at Leadership in San Antonio. It uses one of our Sale-a-bration Reward sets called Outlined Occasions. You will notice if you click on the picture to make it bigger that there is a line of sparkling red on the border above and below the sentiment. It's our Dazzling Details in Cherry Cobbler and it works with a wide range of reds. The Crumb Cake tabs on each side of the sentiment are punched using the Decorative Label punch. I thought it gave the card a more grounded touch because the colors are bright!

1/21 Stampin' Up! Apothecary Art

This card uses the stamp set in the Occasions Mini called Apothecary Art. But the stamp is just a small accent in an effort to keep the focus on the amazing designer series paper called Attic Boutique. This package of DSP in Stampin' Up!'s Occasion Mini catalog is just gorgeous! I love using some of the bigger images on DSP as the main focal point on my cards as I did here. Just a bit of Linen Thread seemed to be the perfect touch.

Thanks so much for dropping by Stamping to Share . . . have a great weekend!

1/18 Love, Marriage or a Baby Carriage Part One

Our Creative Crafters' Stamping to Share Demo Meeting Swap had the theme of Love Marriage or a Baby Carriage. The cards were wonderful. This is the first installment . . . enjoy and stay tuned for more tomorrow!

Karen Larson created this beauty in black and white. The little bit of sparkle on the diamond is Dazzling Details. The stamp is from the set called Word Play.

Angie Lunden recently had a baby girl so it's only natural that she went with the baby theme! The image stamp is from the set called Nursery Times.

Chris Glebus used Take It to Heart from the Mini Catalog to make a love themed card. I love the matching set of Heart Framelits!

Dawn Michels is showing the love with this card. She used the stamp set Three Little Words and I {Heart} Hearts.

I used this card is a couple of different swaps that I participated in recently . . . one of which was for my Creative Crafters' Stamping to Share Demo Group. Our theme was "Love, Marriage, or a Baby Carriage." I decided to make a marriage card and I love how it turned out. First of all, I got to use one of our new Adorning Accents Embossing Folders. And, I used a new stamp set called Love & Laughter. There's also new ribbon ... pleated satin ribbon in Baja Breeze and a sweet little heart accent made with the new Fashionable Hearts Embosslits Die.

Tomorrow and Thursday, I will post the swap cards that our Demo Group created for this swap. Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

1/16 Stampin' Up! Sprinkled Expressions

This card features a Sale-a-bration set called Sprinkled Expressions. It's a really cute set and I like the way the main image falls off into "sprinkles" of flowers or hearts or stars. It's  a great little workshop card so if you haven't booked your Sale-a-bration Workshop with me yet, NOW is a good time! Just call or email me and we'll get that date all squared away. 1/15 Cabin Stamping!

I just wanted to share a couple of random cards with you that I made one of the last times we visited the cabin in Northern Wisconsin. We haven't been going up there as much this year because there just isn't enough snow to snowmobile . . . which is the main reason we go to the cabin! The card above uses the long retired set called Wild Fowl. I can't use that set with out thinking of my dad. He absolutely lives for hunting ducks (and deer and geese and in the winter he's all about spearing!) But, duck hunting really is his favorite. I'll never get rid of this stamp set. He has gotten quite a number of cards from me through the years featuring this stamp set!

And, another stamp set I love (also long retired) called A New Little Someone. That little bunny is just so adorable and a cinch to color with the Aquapainter.

1/14 Stampin' Up! Framelit Frames Video

This video will teach you how to make frames using your Stampin' Up! Framelit Dies. The frame I made is kind of a "floating" frame using Card Stock Vellum suspended over Whisper White. It's a great way to show off our Sweet Shop Designer Stickers  and Paper. If you would like to see the original card post that goes along with this video . . . just click HERE.

1/13 Stampin' Up! Sweet Cake Valentine

I really love how this card turned out! It's a swap I made for one of my favorite swap groups. My sample is Valentine . . . but the Sweet Cake stamp set also comes with two other sentiments that can be used year around.

To make this card, I stamped the cupcake image onto a scrap of Sweet Shop Specialty Designer Series paper and cut it out. Then I "paper pieced" it onto my card. I used my handy dandy Stamp-a-ma-jig to make sure that the sentiment was perfectly centered. The cherry and the border are from our Red Glimmer paper. The Owl Builder Punch has a circle in it that perfectly fits the cherry. The Jelly Bean Brad is also a part of the Sweet Shop Product Suite. You can find all the Sweet Shop products starting on page 32 of your Occasions Mini catalog.

1/12 Stampin' Up! Sweet Shop Stickers - Yum!

This card uses the Sweet Shop Stickers as the main image . . . you can find these stickers on page 32 of the Stampin' Up! 2012 Occasions Mini Catalog. I love how they coordinate with the Sweet Shop Specialty Designer Series paper. How do you like my frame? I am "in love" with the framelits that Stampin' Up! introduced in this mini. I used the Labels Collection to create the frame on this card.

The Soft Suede frame is glued onto a frame of Card Stock Vellum. Then I used dimensionals so set the frame over the top of yet another frame of Whisper White. It gives the image an elegant floating look and I was surprised by how great it looks! Sometimes I surprise myself - lol!

And, finally, a couple more stickers to finish off the inside panel of my card. I always like to put something inside my cards . . . even if it's just a strip of coordinating designer series paper, because no matter HOW gorgeous the outside of your card is, people will ALWAYS open it! lol!
