3/31 Stampin' Up! Sprinkled Expressions

Tomorrow begins a new promotion in Stampin' Up! . . . Summer Smooches! LOVE the name, don't you? But, today is still a Sale-a-bration day and I created this card to show you just how I feel about YOU! Love this cute set called Sprinkled Expression . . . free with a $50 Sale-a-bration purchase.

The daisy shape behind the punched out stamped flower are heart shapes left over from a project I did with my heart shape from the Magnetic Movers and Shapers Punch Windows. I will definitely use that idea again!

Here is the inside portion of the card . . . just a little sprinkle of flowers to keep it on the cute side.

Have a great day and thanks so much for Sale-a-brating with me!!

3/29 Stampin' Up! Assembling the Sweet Shop Treat Box Video Tutorial

Today, I am sharing a video that shows you how to assemble the Sweet Shop Treat Box that I posted a couple of days ago. You can see that post HERE. I had a few emails asking about the box and the bow and it seemed like the simplest way to answer them would be to "show" you!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share. I truly appreciate you!!

3/28 Stampin' Up! Fresh Vintage in Pacific Point

When you want to make something quick and easy and you have limited supplies . . . this is a great layout to try. What do you need? Card stock to stamp on and same color ink and card stock. In this case I used Pacific Point ink and card stock. You will also want to pick out a coordinating ribbon and a punch that is big enough to work with one of your images.

Step one is to stamp your image all over a piece of card stock (I used Whisper White) and then cut it into strips. I cut mine into 5 1/4" x 1/2" strips. Glue two of the strips to the left side of the card and wrap your ribbon around the card, taping the end pieces where your punch out will go. Add a bow adhered with a glue dot.

Step two is to stamp your image separately and punch out with a punch that coordinates or is big enough to grab the full image. My 2 1/2" Circle Punch works "almost" perfectly with this image. It clips one tiny flower off, but it clips it so close, that you don't know it's …

3/27 Stampin' Up! Sweet Shop Treat Holder made with the Big Shot

One of the projects my customers are making today at my Big Shot Classes is this fabulous Sweet Shop Treat Holder. Katherine Narog, one of my Creative Crafters Stamping to Share, made one very similar to this one and surprised me with it! It's so much fun to get happy mail like that - something totally out of the blue. Of course, I couldn't case it fast enough because I knew my customers would love it! Thank you, Katherine!!

Here is a side view of it. You can see that the box is made with the Bitty Box & Envelope Die. LOVE that Bitty Box die! It it the perfect size to hold chocolates!! (You guessed it . . . Katherine had hers full of chocolate for me and I have not one chocolate to put in mine. Chocolate does not last long at my house!)

Here is a picture of the treat holder partially open. I did make one adjustment to the treat holder, I clipped off the closure tab. It's kind of hard to get the box open and shut with the closure tab because the top of the box extends …

3/26 Stampin' Up! You're My Type

This dream-like rustic/vintage card showcases the You're My Type stamp set from the Occasions Mini. I used our Simply Scored Tool to make a grid of 1/4" squares on the Soft Suede card panel. The typewriter is stamped onto First Edition Designers Series Specialty paper and positioned so that the butterfly would appear to be emerging from the paper coming out of the typewriter. I wrapped Linen Thread around the top portion of the card several times and used three Basic Gray brads from the Neutrals Brads package as accents along the right bottom edge. The sentiment is from Fabulous Phrases.

Hope you are enjoying your day and I appreciate that you've dropped by Stamping to Share for a visit!!

3/25 Stampin' Up! Elementary Elegance in the Blossom Punch

The Sale-a-bration set called Elementary Elegance has two sentiments, one of which I've used in the center of the blossoms on this birthday card. I had a bunch of punch outs in Whisper White from another project and I wanted to put the punch outs to good use, which this card does!

I started with designer paper from Attic Boutique, glued on the blossoms and their centers and then I ran it all through the Big Shot Machine with the Lattice Square embossing folder to give the paper that quilted look.

The inside of the card continues the theme, except the blossom is punched from the designer paper. If you like the look of this sentiment and don't yet have Elementary Elegance, there is still time to place an order during Sale-a-bration. It's the final week and we are still having fun, "Sale-a-brating!"

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

3/24 Stampin' Up! Tea Shoppe Elegance

Isn't this an elegant card? I love gold and black together and when the gold is embossed, it adds so much elegance. Of course, having the golden tea cup sitting on a golden table on top of a black doily with a tiny taffeta ribbon bow attached to the handle also contributes to the overall feeling of elegance. I think I'd have to go shopping for a new dress to go to this tea party!! Jeans would NOT cut it! lol!

Do you love the curls of steam? I used Stampin' Up!'s wonderful card stock vellum for that awesome look along with my Big Shot Machine and the Swirls Scribbles Sizzlit Die. To stick it down, I applied Multipurpose Liquid Glue onto the swirls, spread it all over with my fingertip, let it dry for just a minute or so and then adhered it to the card. I like that the glue didn't show through the vellum!

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for dropping by Stamping to Share!

3/23 Stampin' Up! Bordering on Romance Stained Glass with a Video Tutorial

Wouldn't this be a lovely Mother's Day card? My club members enjoyed making this recently and everyone just loved it. So do I! It's one of those cards that you put up on your shelf and don't ever get tired of looking at it!! The technique I used is called Stained Glass and for those of you that have never tried it before, I created a video tutorial for you.

Ok, I'm finally ready to admit it . . . I'm getting better at videos! Yeah!! Slowly but surely, I've been gaining confidence. Of course, practice helps, but much thanks also goes to you for all your support as I learned with a big curve how to create and share via You Tube! Now, it's kind of funny, but I'm actually starting to get "requests" from people as to what I should do next! lol! That's good since I never quite have a plan; it gives me some direction!

Thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share! Have a great day!

3/22 Stampin' Up! Elegant Bird Die

I just recently got the Elegant Bird Die and wanted to use it at my upcoming Big Shot Class. This is the card my attendees will get to make that uses this die introduced in the Occasions Mini catalog. I was inspired by a card I saw at I love the tone on tone stamping with Fresh Vintage and the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series paper. The text paper on one of the wings is from the First Edition Specialty paper. This die image "just fits" on a standard A2 sized card. It's a very pretty die and I'm looking forward to working on more projects with it in the future.

There's only nine more days left in Sale-a-bration . . . don't miss your chance to earn fabulous rewards with every $50 increment of Stampin' Up! product on your order. The card above showcases some of the freebies . . . . Fresh Vintage Stamp Set, Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and the Brights Buttons. Plus, every $50 increment that you place with me earns you a Happy …

3/21 Stampin' Up! Take It to Heart: Take 3

I am crazy about the way this card turned out because I used a some colors that forced me out of my comfort zone and maybe you will be inspired, too! I started with the heart that I had leftover from the cut out on yesterday's card that you can see HERE.  I wanted to make one more card using the bird image from this set, but it wasn't "happening" for me. Then, I decided to try stamping the bird onto Naturals Ivory with Always Artichoke and immediately I saw that I had some nice contrast going on, but yet it wasn't too stark like can sometime happen when you stamp an image with black. That let me to River Rock because it has a tint of green in it. Then, to tie the heart right into this card, I layered it all onto a card base of Pool Party and just like that . . . I had something beautiful going on! (In my mind, anyway! lol!) I hope you enjoy it, too.

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

3/20 Stampin' Up! Take It to Heart: Take 2

This is my "quick and easy" card using the bird stamp from Take It to Heart. This card is 5 1/4" square. I started by taking a 5" square piece of Everyday Enchantment DSP and cutting a heart out of it. Then, I sponged the inside and outside of the paper piece with Poppy Parade ink before adhering it onto a card base of Crumb Cake. The bird is stamped with Riding Hood Red onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock and it is also sponged with Poppy Parade ink before it is adhered to the card base with Dimensionals.

The brads were added as an afterthought when I realized the card still needed "something."  Since the card was already assembled and I didn't want to poke the brad legs through to the inside of the card, I simply cut them off with a scissors and adhered them with a dimensional. Turns out a dimensional fits perfectly inside the head of these brads.

So, what to do with the heart that was leftover from the DSP. Well . . . I made yet another card …

3/19 Stampin' Up! Take It to Heart: Take One

I purchased the stamp set Take It to Heart from the Occasions Mini Catalog soon after its debut because I loved the silhouette image of the boy and girl on the bicycle. See this post for an example of those two images.  I also love the way the hearts coordinate with the Heart Framelits. But, now that it is spring, I decided it was time to fall in love with the bird image. I think many of our summer birds here in MN have come back early since we have been having such nice weather so this card was inspired by the bird songs outside my window. Spring has sprung in MN and on this 4 1/4" square card.

Not that I haven't already used this image . . . see this post for how I used it on a scrapbook page. This is my first time, however, to use the bird image on a card. I did two takes for you . . . the more time consuming card is pictured today . . . the quick and easy card will be posted tomorrow.

So, what's time consuming? Coloring!! I stamped the image with Basic Gray ink onto…

3/17 Stampin' Up! Easter Bonnet Table Favor

I've seen such cute ideas for decorating with Table Favors at Easter and I've done most of the traditional bunnies, baskets and carrots favors over the years, but last year I saw an idea that uses the Stampin' Up! Stack & Store containers to make these very cute Easter Bonnet favors. With our lovely Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, I knew I'd have some nice patterns to choose from to decorate the top of the bonnet. This is what my club members got to do this past month and I have a few workshops this month where we will make these, too. I think it's the perfect size for some sweet Easter treats!!

3/16 Stampin' Up! Perfect Words & Video for Punch Window Cards

How would you like to make a card in FIVE minutes or LESS? It can be done . . . especially when you use this design. And, it looks good!! Clean and Simple is so "in" right now and that's fine by me! I was inspired by a Christmas card I received this past year and on my video below, I actually show you the Christmas card. You will see the resemblance right away. The sentiment that I used on this card is from the hostess set called Perfect Words. The punch was recently introduced to the crafting world via the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini. If you have one on hand, you can find it on page 17. It coordinates with the Mixed Bunch stamp set . . . but there are many ways to use it on its own, too.

I also tried this card out in a 3x3 format using Very Vanilla instead of white and I love that look, too. Instead of a brad, I used punches to decorate the center of the flower.

Here are more examples of the 3x3 card with various background papers . . . all from the Sale-a-bration…

3/15 Stampin' Up! Send Me Soaring with Diagonal Plate Background

Here's a sweet card that I made for everyone in my downline who attended Milwaukee Regionals with me. It uses the Diagonal Plate that Stampin' Up! recently introduced. It's an accessory piece to Simply Scored and it is so easy to use! I love that I can now make envelopes of any size or color, but I am also loving it for backgrounds. Here I used it in the background mimicking a kite shape . . . very appropriate for this kite card!

There's only a little over two weeks left to celebrate Sale-a-bration. Tomorrow, I will show you the cute 3x3 cards I am sending out as a thank you to all of my online orders this month. I think I will even make a video of it. There will be a full size version of the same card, too, so please stay tuned!! So far everyone that has seen it has loved it!!

3/14 Stampin' Up! Send Me Soaring & Video Tips from Milwaukee Regionals

These projects that I am sharing today are the ones we made at Stampin' Up! Regionals in Milwaukee this past weekend. I LOVED the projects and I am looking forward to sharing the Spin the Kite card, pictured above, with my customers at a Fabulous Five Card Class in April.

This sweet flower card was so much fun to make and I learned so much from it! Did you know that I have been stamping since Presidents Day of 2000 and I did not know how to make larger rounded corners with Circle Punches? If you don't know how to do that, check out the short video below. I will show you how to do that as well a share a couple of other tips that will help you re-create the card pictured above.

The supply list today is for both cards. Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

We got free stuff . . . lots of free stuff! Here are Debby and Mary showing off their free Simply Sent kits.

Here we are posing with Stampin' Ups! Co-Founder and CEO Shelli Gardner. It was fun to have Shelli join us in Milwaukee . . . she worked hard all day personally meeting hundreds of us demos, creating beautiful projects on stage and even helping to pass out the freebies.

We also had the pleasure of meeting one of our uplines, Joyce Hall of Hudson, Wisconsin. She knows how to make a stamper smile! It was with much delight that each of us received the Send Me Soaring stamp set. As you can see, we are all looking very happy and surprised!

We had lots of time to make our projects and I made a Spin the Wheel card for the very first time. The projects were awesome! Here's Cindy and Mary making templates so we can recreate the …

3/12 Milwaukee Regionals - Shoebox Swap with Dawn & Kelly

One of the greatest benefits of becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator are the relationships you build through the years with other demonstrators. Friendship is truly one of life's greatest treasures and I am blessed to count Dawn Olchefske and Kelly Acheson as two of my treasured Stampin' Up! friends. We had a shoebox swap the night before Milwaukee Regionals with some of our downline.

Here is a picture of the Stamping to Share contingent at the shoebox swap. L to R: Cindy Standal, Mary Kiley, Mary Bellis, Kay Kalthoff and Debby Filiowich. I will share their cards below . . . along with Dawn's card and a calendar project that Kelly made for her downline.

This is my shoebox swap that uses the Triple Treat Flower and the word set called Friendly Phrases . . . you will find the supply list for it at the bottom of this post.

3/10 Christian Inspiration Demo Mtg Swap Cards Part Two

This is part two of the Christian Inspiration Swap that my group of Creative Crafters Stamping to Share did for the March Demo Meeting. I hope you will be as inspired just as I have!

Katherine Narog created this stunning sympathy card with several different stamp sets: Crosses of Hope, Thoughts & Prayers and Elements of Style. The pearls add an understated touch of class.

Cindy Standal made this elegant card the My Friend stamp set and the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. She colored the basic rhinestone red for a sweet focal point. I LOVE the diagonal die cut as a base layer!

Irene Boesen created this soft card with River Rock, Real Red and Night of Navy. She used Silver Mini Brads to accent the flower centers . . . I love that simple touch of elegance.

Laura Erickson . . . ever the creative one . . . used three ovals folded and sponged to create an Easter Lily. For the center of the lily, she took our sheer Limeade Ribbon from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack, ti…
