6/30 Stampin' Up! Hello Doily

Hello Doily is a background stamp that SU is now offering in Clear Mount! That's a great option and it's available for several of our larger stamps. (I am a HUGE clear mount fan.) This card was super quick to make and can be personalized to fit many different occasions.

The top panel is raised on dimensionals. I thought I would give you a close up picture of the sentiment. You can see that the scallop punch is actually punched through the top panel and the oval punch with the sentiment is raised on dimensionals to be even with the main panel.

The inside panel of the card is easy peasy. Actually, the inside panels of all of my cards are easy peasey . . . but the insides almost always have "something" in them . . . because no matter how pretty the outside is, the first thing people do when they get a card is open it up!! lol!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!!

6/29 Stampin' Up! Delightful Dozen

One of the new punches that Stampin' Up! introduced in their latest catalog is called Elegant Butterfly. I love it!! This is my second card to showcase this punch. The first card I made is HERE. There is a stamp set that coordinates with this punch called Papillon Potpourri. I don't have it yet, but I will soon!! It's nice to know this punch can be used with or without the coordinating stamp set.

Here is a picture of the inside panel of the card. Nice and simple!

Have a great day and "Thank you so, so much" for stopping by!

6/27 Stampin' Up! Petite Purse Box

One of my mentors and dear friends in SU is LeeAnn Greff. I feel so blessed to know her . . . she was the one who encouraged me to delve into scrapbooking and now it is a vital part of my SU business. LeeAnn created the cutest little box from the Petite Purse Die and I just had to case it for my Big Shot Class yesterday. Needless to say, it was a big hit!!

Here is a picture of it open. It is very roomy so you will be able to put twice as many treats into it! The fabric brad is not longer available, but you wouldn't need it. I just happened to have quite a few on hand so decided to use them. LeeAnn provides a nice tutorial which you can see HERE.

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

6/26 Stampin' Up! Blooming with Kindness

I was browsing a few of my favorite blogs and saw that LeAnne Pugliese had created a card that showed off some of the new embossing folders by punching them out with a square punch and mounting them onto punch outs from the Postage Stamp Punch. I was intrigued and decided to use that idea for my Big Shot class today. It's a card that shows off three new folders . . . the Chevron, Argyle and Fancy Fan, along with an "old" folder, but one of my favorites called the Square Lattice. The stamp set I used is called Blooming with Kindness and I know it is going to be a keeper in my rather large collection fabulous flower sets. Not only is the flower some kind of gorgeous . . . but the font that SU used on all the in this set is just so elegant! It's on page 87 of the catalog if you are looking for it.

Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by to visit Stamping to Share!

6/25 Stampin' Up! Betsy's Blossoms

Do you need to resupply your stash of thank you cards? I did! This one shows off several new products and it's just so very sweet. The stamp set I used for the images is a new one called Betsy's Blossoms and the ribbon is our new 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain. The sentiment comes from the new stamp set called Sweet Essentials.

One of the new products that this card shows off is the Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack that coordinates with various punches, Edgelits and Framelits. I used it here to accent the Adorning Accent Edgelit. In conjunction with the new Paper-Piercing Pack, there is also a new mat . . . much larger than our old mat and a new Paper-Piercing Tool featuring an ergonomic handle. It a great trio of products to own as it will enhance your paper crafting projects with the finest of details . . . and we all know that details make the difference!

Thank you so much for visiting today - I appreciate you!

6/24 Stampin' Up! Lovely Letters Personalizes Matchbook Post It Note Holder

Sandy Mathis posted pictures of Matchbook Post It Note Holders on her blog recently and I was so inspired that I had to create a few myself. You can see her post with directions HERE. I used Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit on a Crumb Cake Background. The amazing embossing that you see is a new folder that is part of the Delicate Designs Duo. The flower is a stamp from Daydreams Medallions and cut out with the Floral Framelit Dies. The letter can be personalized and I used the Lovely Letters Alphabet stamp set.

Here is a picture of the matchbook cover open to reveal the Post It Notes. I love how easily you can make up a bunch of these. Thanks so much, Sandy, for sharing your talents at our Demo Website Stampin' Connection and then so generously sharing your instructions at your blog.

6/23 Stampin' Up! Take Care

I think this new stamp set called "Take Care" is just so sweet. It has a branch, a nest, a trio of fragile eggs and the words, "Blessings" and "Take Care." I loved the sample in the catalog and tried to recreate a version of it for my upcoming card buffet. The nest is made up of sever slivers of Soft Suede paper crinkled up and adhered with snail. I used Linen Thread instead of ribbon because I wanted to keep the look soft and natural. The wood-like button is one of the new Naturals Designer Buttons.

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by my Stamping to Share blog today!

6/22 Stampin' Up! Language of Friendship

I love the samples in the latest Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. I couldn't resist casing the sample on page 74. I will be on my June card buffet . . . pretty, pretty, pretty!!!

Here is a close up of the punched bird. So quick and easy. I used Baja Breeze and Calypso Coral which looks great over the top of the embossed Crumb Cake background.

Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: "Case" means to copy and share. I do it all the time and I find it a nice compliment when someone cases me. You truly don't need my permission to case one of my cards, but it's sweet when you ask. So thank you and case away . . . I certainly do! I'm glad to inspire you, but I'm even happier to know you are creating and sharing your family, friends and customers!

Have a nice weekend and thank you so much for stopping by my blog. Happy stamping and sharing!

6/21 Stampin' Up! World Treasures

Another card that will go on my June Card Buffet. I really enjoy putting together a great selection of cards for my customers to choose from each month. This one uses the new stamp set called World Treasures paired with a sentiment from Petite Pairs. The fabulous DSP is from International Bazaar. It's hard to see in the photo, but I used the Fancy Fan to provide a layer of fabulous texture on the card.

Here is a picture of the inside panel. Simple and sweet.

Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: The black rhinestones are created by coloring our regular rhinestones with a black Sharpie. You can use Sharpies in any color to create just the right coordination color accent for your rhinestones. This method can be used on our pearls, too!

6/20 Stampin' Up! Summer Silhouettes

My monthly Card Buffet is coming up next week and I just LOVE it when my customers give me ideas about what they would like to see on my buffet. One of my customers pointed to the picture on page 83 of the Stampin' Up! Catalog and said it would great to see that one on the buffet. I wholeheartedly agreed with her! Of course, I did switch it up a bit . . . and I love how it turned out. A perfect buffet card!!

Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: Strips of ribbon, paper panels and punched paper borders do a nice job of hiding a cluster of stamped stems in a card like this. Or, you can also use a larger punched sentiment like I did to accomplish this. Worked great!

Thank you so much for stopping in! Have a wonderful day.

6/19 Stampin' Up! Need for Speed

One of the new embossing folders that recently debuted is called the Chevron folder. It reminds me of tire tracks so I was enticed to create a manly card with it. The stamp set called Need for Speed pairs perfectly with the Chevron folder.

After I ran the card long ways through the Big Shot machine with the folder, I used the 2 1/2" Circle Punch to make a window for the 4-wheeler to peek through. I dirtied it up by sponging some black ink all around the card and lightly over the whole front of the card. I used the Postage Stamp Punch and inserted some Antique Brass Metallic Brads through the centers to give the card some contrast and a bit more of a manly feel.

6/18 Stampin' Up! Daydream Medallions

My teenage daughters have been working with the new in colors as they help me divide up various product shares and guess what . . . their favorite new in color is . . . Summer Starfruit! Here's a card that uses Summer Starfruit with Crumb Cake. My kids loved it!
One of the most exciting sections of the new catalog is the Big Shot section. We have so many new Big Shot products and I couldn't be happier about it. I love the new embossing folders . . . I used Argyle on this card . . . and I love the way SU coordinates some of their stamp sets with coordinating framelit sets. In this case, I used the new Daydream Medallions stamp set with the Floral Framelits.

On page 146 and 147, you can order customized stamps from Stampin' Up! personalized with a verse, name or address. Here's the close up of the one I got from page 147. It's the new Monogram stamp and I really like how it turned out. I can picture myself using it a lot on the back of my envelopes and as a part of …

6/16 Stampin' Up! Jolly Bingo Bits with Sweet Essentials

I've started adding a Christmas card to my monthly card buffet and this sweet one will be part of our June Buffet menu! Isn't it cute? It uses a new sentiment stamp set called "Sweet Essentials" and a new designer series paper called "Be of Good Cheer." The design on this particular sheet reminded me of the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set so I had to get it out and see what I could come up with. Do you like it? I do!! It's cute and quick! And quick is important when you are going to make a lot of them!

Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: Let your designer series paper be your guide! This whole card came together quickly because I let the designer series paper lead the way. The next time you are at a card making stand still . . . see if a beautiful piece of DSP can inspire you to stamp and share.

Thank you so much for stopping in. If you are local . . . why not try attending one of my events. You are going to have so much fun and make new friends, too!

6/15 Demo Meeting Swap Cards for June

We had a wonderful swap session at our last demonstrator meeting using stamp sets that have just made their debut in our most recent SU catalog. Dorene Bye, participating for the first time in a swap, created the Christmas card above that showcases the stamp set Chock-Full of Cheer along with the coordinating DSP called Be of Good Cheer.

Katherine Narog, inspired by Diana Gibbs, showcases the stamp set called Betsy's Blossoms in this Clean and Simple card. She used Floral District DSP. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Fabulous Phrases.

Karen Larson, one of the lucky ones to receive this stamp set before SU removed it from their store due to unforeseen legal issues, created a cute Shop On Card with the hostess set "Carry On." Too bad it's no longer available as I know this would have been popular with our hostesses! The patterned paper on her card is from Floral District.

Debby Filiowich used "Make a Cake" and "Itty Bitty Banners" for this c…

6/14 Stampin' Up! Bordering on Romance

Isn't this a pretty and fresh looking card? I used three new In Colors to create this beauty. I started with a Raspberry Ripple card base and cut panels from the 2012-2014 In Color DSP Stack for the next layers. I used StazOn Black ink to stamp my images and colored them in with 2012-2014 In Colors. A quick and simple card for a friend.

6/13 Stampin' Up! Pursuit of Happiness

Every other month, I have a Leadership Roundtable at my house to work with the demonstrators in my downline who are interested in taking their SU business to the next level. In my Stamping to Share Downline Group, I stress that "leadership" is not just about building your team. It's about setting an example for others in our group and offering to lead. Examples of leadership might be striving towards consistency in sales, showing a willingness to share ideas or electing to be project leader at our next get together. I see "Leadership" as a way to give back and I feel so proud of all the leaders in my group.

Of course . . . at every Stamping to Share get together we have to stamp!! The card above is what we created at our  most recent Leadership Roundtable. If it looks a little familiar to you, it's because I took the idea from page 190 of the 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog. There are a couple of new things on this card . . . notice the tiny pinking edg…

6/12 Stampin' Up! Everything Eleanor

This is the invitation I created to send to all the hostesses I've had over the past six months. Twice a year I do a Hostess Appreciation and our Spring event is coming up next week! I picked a sentiment from our Occasions Mini Alphabet . . . "Y" is for You . . . that's who this is for. I thought it worked well for an invitation.

Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: You can make your stamping quick and perfect every time on a card like this when you stamp the bird and the swirl all at the same time. Just put both stamps on one block. One of the many advantages to using our clear mount stamp system!

Have a wonderful day and please contact me if you are interested in being a hostess. Right now, hostesses earn an EXTRA $50 in Hostess Dollars with a $450 workshop. Read all about it by clicking HERE.

6/11 Stampin' Up! Family Reunion with Hamburger Punch Art Card

I'm having a Punch Art Class this week for my customers and one of the items we are going to make is this Hamburger Punch Art card. I modified a card I saw from Rachel Tessmen and she said she modified it from a cased card that she saw! Aren't we all just "stamping to share?" lol!

Anyway, with Father's Day coming up and lots of grillin' going on these next few summer months, it just seemed like the perfect card for my upcoming class. The sentiments are taken from the stamp set called Family Reunion. I love how that stamp set lets you customize cards for all the important people in your life.

Stamping to Share Tip of the Day: To give your hamburger bun the illusion of being rounded, use a sponge inked up with More Mustard ink and sponge around the Extra-Large Oval punched out of Crumb Cake. Leave the top portion of the "bun" lighter.

6/10 Stampin' Up! 12x12 Patio Party Pages

One of my favorite Designer Series Paper packs in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog is called Patio Party and I decided to create a set of scrapbook pages to show it off. I thought this layout would be a nice background for all kinds summer occasions.

One of the papers features these awesome circles that can be punched out with your 1 3/4" Circle Punch for cute page accents. And look how classy that white stitched grosgrain is! (LOVE it!)

Above is a closeup of a new die that SU debuted in their new catalog. It's called Oval Accent and it's one of those clear dies so you can see right where to place it if you are cutting a picture out with it.

If you are local and would like to attend my scrapbooking class on Thursday, June 21, let me know soon! This class has an early RSVP. I plan to place the order for this class on Monday or Tuesday of this week. The other set of 12x12 pages, I can't show you!! I am using them for a 12x12 double page swap at Convention, but if you…

6/8 Stampin' Up! Papaya Collage

I am having fun playing with some of the new Stampin' Up! sets that recently debuted in our new catalog. This card features the stamp set called Papaya Collage. I also used the new firm foam ink pads on this card and I loved the vibrancy they provided. I used the 3/4" Circle Punch to add a sentiment from Occasions Alphabet.

Here is a picture of the inside panel. Notice how perfectly the sentiments from the Occasions Alphabet fit into that motif? LOVE it when our stamps coordinate like that.
