7/30 Stampin' Up! Daydream Medallions Stationery Holder with How To Video

This is the stationery holder that my hostesses made at Hostess Appreciation Day. (They loved it!) And, it's also what I gave to my roommates and downline attending Convention this year. (They loved it, too!)

This elegant folder is designed to fit a half pack of the English Ivy Simple Sentiments. I was inspired by the picture on page 147 of the 2012-13 Stampin' Up! Catalog. The front of the folder features the Daydream Medallions set. I had a personalized monogram stamp created for myself (also on page 147), but my customers used the Broadsheet Alphabet stamp to personalize their holders with monograms.

A full view of the inside of the stationery holder.

The left hand side features envelopes made with the Scallop Envelope Die. It's a good place to store stamps and return address labels.

The right hand side holds the stationery. It's stamped with the bird and swirl from the stamp set called Everything Eleanor. I just love the color combination of Crumb Cake, Summer St…

7/29 It's a Candy Card!

What can be more fun than getting a card in the mailbox? Maybe getting a card that features CANDY! Thank you to my downline Cindy Standal for surprising me this this yummy candy card. She said she was inspired by cards she'd seen at our demo only website Stampin' Connection.

Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by!

7/27 Stampin' Up! Daydream Medallions

One of my favorite stamp sets in our new catalog is called Daydream Medallions and it has a coordinating set of framelits which makes it all the more fun to play with! The card pictured above is what I made for one of the organized swaps that I participated in at Convention. I like to think of the medallions on these two cards as "Snow Flowers."

Here is another version I made when I was playing around with this new stamp set and its coordinating set of framelits.

7/26 Stampin' Up! Raining Flowers

These are the cards I created for swapping at Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Convention. I used the stamp set we got free at Convention last year called Raining Flowers. These cards have been a hit with my customers and they are the perfect make and take for newer stampers. The one above is Rich Razzleberry.

And this one uses the new in color called Raspberry Ripple. The little dots are created by using a coordinating marker in the Color Spritzer Tool.

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

7/25 Stampin' Up 12x12 Summer Scrapbook Pages

One of the swaps at Convention that participated in this year was one for 12x12 pages. I was so excited about this one because it takes quite a bit of time to come up with ideas for my pages each month and it will be nice to have several on hand to choose from.

My contribution to the swap was a set of summery pages showcasing designer series paper from the pack called Floral District. Each page features a garden flag and scalloped banners. The banners were easy to make. Just use your 1 3/8" circle punch and punch the circles right out of the DSP, then cut in half.

Here's a close up of one of the garden flags. I used the stamp set called Betsy's Blossom. Skinny strips of Silver Glimmer paper and couple of well placed rhinestones added just the right amount of "bling" to my pages.

I personalized each page with the initial of the last name of each person participating in the swap. For most of the letters, I used Broadsheet Alphabet . . . but the "R" tur…

7/24 Stampin' Up! Delicate Doilies Wreath Card with a How To Video

One of the swaps I was in at Convention last week used this card. It's a quick and easy Christmas card. The focal point is the wreath that I created using the Big Shot and the Delicate Doilies Large Sizzlit Die. If you are interested . . . I've created a video that takes you through the how to's on this card.

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

7/23 Convention Awards Night

Before I get back to my normal blogging ways of sharing the usual pictures of the projects that I am working on, I wanted to share a few more pictures with you from Convention 2012. This is Awards Night and a picture of our whole group. L to R: Karen Lockner, little Charlea, Angie Lunden, myself, Mary Kiley and Mary Smallidge.

Charlea had a cute little onesie on. The front of it said, "My Mom is" and you can see what the back said! Charlea was a good little baby at Convention and we were happy to her with us!

Angie is recognized as a Rising Star! I feel bad that I didn't get a good picture of ALL the Rising Stars ... it's hard when you only have a few seconds to "snap it!"

This is a picture of all the little pudding cups that had for us at the After Party. I know there was a better, more fancy name for them, but I can't remember what it was. They were cute and really yummy!

When I got back to the hotel that night, I was able to take a good picture of t…

7/18 Convention 2012 Begins!

Here we are at Convention 2012! This is me and my downline, Angie Lunden. It's Angie's first time to Convention and we are in the Awards line.

Angie is told she has a "letter!" Look at that happy face . . . and notice the very pretty bag? That's our Convention bag this year. We all just LOVE it! So fashionable!!

It's the good news! Angie is confirmed as a Rising Star for 2012!! Here we are looking her letter over. We are both so happy!!

I got two letters. This one was in recognition of the Achiever's Bonus!! I wasn't really sure what the other one was for. As usual, I was being "blonde" and not really getting it!

Here we are holding our letters. I was still in the "clueless mode."

And, the lights go on! I just figured it out . . . I'm going to Founder's Circle!!!

Here are my letters and awards . . . I'm finally putting it all together and it occurs to me that I have the greatest, most awesome team under the sun!! Thank…

7/17 Demo Meeting Swap Part Three

This is the last and final installment of swaps from our July Demo meeting. I hope you have enjoyed seeing them!

New demonstrator, Jan Gunderson, used an elegant combination of Navy Blue with embossed Vellum Card Stock to create this special occasion card. She embossed the card stock vellum with the Manhattan Flower Folder and the butterfly is from the Beautiful Wings Embosslit.

Dorene Bye used the leaf stamp from Summer Silhouettes and jazzed it up with a couple of BoHo Blossom Punches. She used an angled Label framelit piece and the sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners.
The Daffodil Delight Background was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

This card was created by Karen Larson. She used the butterfly from Papillon Potpourri and the sentiment from Fabulous Phrases. She made a lovely medallion using a die cut from Perfect Pennants and a punch out of a piece of Whisper White that was embossed with the Fancy Fan folder. I like the extra touch of the edging she did with the Ado…

7/16 Demo Meeting Swaps Part Two

Here is part two of the three parts to our demo meeting swaps . . . Enjoy!

Katherne Narog, casing Terry Blais, provided this very fun and cute card for us that uses the new stamp set called Blast Off. Perfect for kids who like Outer Space. The designer paper is from our Summer Smooches pack . . . bet you wouldn't have guessed that, huh? It's truly a versitile set of papers to say the least!

Irene Boesen made this darling Christmas card for our Demo Swap. I just love those sweet mittens from the new set called Chock-Full of Cheer which coordinates with the Be of Good Cheer Designer Series Paper. Our new in-color called Gumball Green is going to be a great Christmas green and I love the way it looks with Cherry Cobbler.

Monika Palider mad the sweet card with the new set called Cottage Window. This window looks out onto a meadow with butterflies! She used the Embosslit called Beautiful Wings for all the butterfly accents and made her wall with the stripes embossing folder.
