2/26 All Dressed Up is Fun!

All Dressed Up stamp set and framelit set is just plain fun!! I truly feel like a kid again playing with my paper dolls. You can cut the dresses out in different colors and then have fun layering them together to make new outfits like I did on this card.

The "mirror" is created with the Window Framelits. I embossed the black piece with our Woodgrain embossing folder and then layered Brushed Silver paper over the top. I think it really shows off the dress!

My inside panel features a sentiment from the All Dressed Up stamp set. I love that the sayings coordinate with the set, it just makes it all so much more fun!

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share.

2/22 Birthday Pinwheels with Video

I so enjoyed making this bright and happy birthday card! It features the pinwheels that Stampin' Up! introduced in the 2013 Spring Mini catalog. You make them with you Big Shot Machine and Pinwheel Sizzlit. I made a video below to share a few tips I learned about assembling them.

Here is the inside of the card. I love the stamp set called Wishes Your Way . . . it coordinates perfectly with these sweet pinwheels! Do you like the clouds on this card? I used the Cloudy Day embossing folder and accented the look with punch outs from the Cupcake Builder punch. Yup, the fluffy frosting looks just like a cloud! Too much fun! This is the card my customers will get to make at my Big Shot Class next week. I can't wait!! Here's the video:

2/20 Beautiful Boutique Boxes!

You know how I "know" that feathers are "in?" I knew it when my daughter borrowed one of the shirts from my closet because it looked cool and it has feathers on it! The other way I know that feathers are "in" is because Stampin' Up! is featuring them in on of our Spring Mini kits.

Boutique Boxes, pictured on page 25 of the Spring Mini, are quick and easy to make and they are perfect for filling with bits and pieces of specialness. I recently gave some of my hostesses a sampling of some of the silver things in our mini in these boxes . . . silver buttons and trinkets and clips. They are also perfect for presenting a gift card . . . yes, a gift card will fit perfectly into these boxes....sweet!

The bit of stamping that you see on the tag of these boxes came with the bundle. The bundle offers you 15% savings and you get the Boutique Boxes along with the coordinating stamp set called A Little Greeting.

2/19 Heart of Gold Gift Card Holder

Do you know someone with a Heart of Gold? Surprise them with a gift card to their favorite coffee house and present it in a gift card holder made with the Petite Pocket Die. Our Champagne Glimmer paper from the Holiday 2012 mini catalog DID carry over, even though it is not pictured in the Spring Mini. It is the perfect way to add a sparkling decoration to your gift card holder. The heart of gold cozies up inside one of the images from Pretty Petites, punched out with the Petite Curly Label Punch.

Here's a video to help you learn about the assembly process . . . enjoy!

2/16 Demo Meeting Swap Cards Part Two

This is part two of our Demo Meeting Swap for February with the theme to create something from the Spring Mini or the Sale-a-bration brochure. Mary Smallidge picked Feeling Sentimental to create her card . . . and went on to decorate the

inside of her card with the stamp sets called Word Play and Bring on the Cake. She used designer paper from Comfort Cafe.
Feeling Sentimental was the stamp set of choice for Cindy Standal as well. She used a greeting from the stamp set called Sassy Salutations.

Dawn Michels also used patterned paper from Comfort Cafe on her card which featured the stamp set called, "Oh, Hello." I love the second generation flower above the sentiment!

Laura Erickson created this darling favor with the Petite Pocket Die. There is a touch of elegance about this with the lace and delicate rose that makes think of Spring Weddings. The designer paper accent is from Tea for Two.

Cindy LeMire had fun making this valentine that features elements from "Oh, Hell…

2/15 Demo Meeting Swap Cards Part One

Our swap theme this month was to use items in the Spring Mini or the Sale-a-bration Brochure and wow . . . our group Stamping to Share really did wonders with the challenge! Above, Irene Boesen used the Dresden Die to create the shape for her owl and then rolled the Spring Mini Wheel called Oh, Wave for the feathers! Isn't that awesome? A few more quick touches . . . including a heart candy and she had a darling valentine favor!

Vivian Barriga used the Swallowtail stamp to create this gorgeous clip on. She embossed the butterfly with Silver Embossing Powder onto card stock vellum, cut it out, accented it with our rhinestones colored with a Sharpie and then layered it onto Tempting Turquoise.

Then, she attached a clip to the back and we can clip a bit spring onto anything! At nine degrees this morning here in MN . . . looking at this butterfly gives me hope!!

I received an awesome cared at Leadership from Robin Merriman and decided to case it so that I could share it with my down…

2/12 All Dressed Up Using Fabric with Framelits

This card was so much fun to make and I've totally fallen in love with Stampin' Up! fabric! Thanks to inspiration from Cindy McGurk, I just can't wait to start making fabric dresses in every style and color using my stash of Stampin' Up! fabric and our new Dress Up Framelit Dies. I used Shimmery White paper with the subtle sparkles for the oval element and stamped it with a florish from Creative Elements.

This is the inside of the card. The sentiment comes from the All Dressed Up stamp set.

While creating this card, I discovered a few things that might help you recreate this card and cut your fabric perfectly with our framelit dies. I made a video so you can see the step by step. Enjoy and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

2/11 Feeling Sentimental

Feeling a little sentimental? Then this stamp set is for you! It's one of our freebies with a $50 purchase through March 22. I paired it up with the sentiment set called Loving Thoughts and I like how it turned out. I also used one of the Tea Time Trinkets, too, the perfect bit of bling for this card that reminds me that my daughter is studying in England this semester. I miss her, (and TODAY is her 19th birthday!) but she is having the time of her life learning new things, a new culture and traveling during her breaks. In a couple of days she leaves for Ireland, home of some of our ancestors.

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping in at Stamping to Share . . . I appreciate you!

2/4 Oh, Hello with Lace Tape

Oooooh, have you had a chance to try out the Delicate Details Lace Tape featured on page 3 of the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini 2013 catalog? This card was inspired by the card sample, also on page 3 of the Spring Mini. The Lace Tape is so pretty and despite the fact that it has "delicate" in its name, it's really quite sturdy. And forgiving! You can actually reposition it if you need to.

I've been having a lot of fun with the Tea Party Designer Paper. It's really versatile and I've been finding that it's one of my "go to" papers as I stamp and share.

Can you spot the freebie? Yup . . . it's the button! Sale-a-bration is a great time of year to "celebrate" and one of my favorite ways to do that is to put a little "free" on my cards and projects. Every $50 in merchandise purchased earns you one of 19 Sale-a-bration items free!!! One of those items is a button and ribbon pack. Three colors of buttons and three colors of ri…
