4/10 Stampin' Up! Feels Good with the Chalkboard Technique

This card was inspired by Heidi Baks and it features the chalkboard technique. I really love how it turned out and my club members this month have been having a ball with it selecting their favorite saying from Feels Good to personalize their cards. This is how I did the technique:

Step One: Stamp your image using VersaMark ink onto Basic Black  card stock, sprinkle White Embossing Powder over the top, shake off the excess and emboss with your Heat Tool.

Step Two: Use a Stampin' Sponge to pick up ink from a Whisper White Craft Pad and lightly sponge it onto your sentiment piece. It looks nice if you swirl it a bit. While you are doing it, you will think you arn't doing a very good job, but give it time and it will look better!

Step Three: Use a ruler and White Gel Pen to edge the sentiment panel. Add a brushed silver button for fun and you are done!

Have a great day! Thanks for stopping by! And, if you are interested in seeing the very latest Photopolymer Clear Stamps from Stampin' Up! just click HERE and you will see a flyer featuring a new set called Bombs Away Birthday. I'm excited about getting it, too!
