6/7 Using a Magnetic Platform to Create an Invitation with a How To Video

I am so excited about the new Magnetic Platform from Stampin' Up! I used it to create this invitation to my Hostess Appreciation. No more post it notes in our effort to avoid slipping framelits and just wait until you try it with an edgelit . . . works like a dream If you would like the step by step, along with a demonstration on how I used the magnetic platform to create this card, please watch the video below.

A word of caution . . . in the video, I put glue dots on my cutting plate to attach it to the platform . . . that may NOT be such a good idea as when I needed to flip the the cutting plate since it was starting to warp, I had a VERY HARD time getting the glue dots to release the plate!! It was like super glue!! I think I will leave the glue dots off in the future as the plate needs to be quite flat in order to get the best pull with the magnets! Live and learn! lol!
