9/30/13 3D Fence Card with Best of Greetings & Backyard Basics

This is a super fun little project that I was inspired to create after receiving a swap card from Colleen Vassos at Convention. ((Hugs and many thanks, Colleen!!)) I changed up the colors and the stamp sets to create my own version of her card. I even made a video so you can see exactly the folds you need to make to create the picket fence!

Thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share! I'm off to cut more paper for Fall Flair. This card will be one of the cards we will make - yeah!!

9/28/13 Favorite Cards from Founder's Circle Part Two

This is part two of my favorite Swap Cards from Founder's Circle. The first set, that I shared a couple of days ago, were my favorite Christmas cards. This next set of five cards are my favorite non-Christmas cards. Our theme this year was Anything Goes so we had a wonderful variety of swap cards.
When I got this card from Lyssa Zwolanek, I immediately wondered about this stamp set. I couldn't recall it being in the book, because if I had seen it, I'm pretty sure I would have gotten it! After a little research, I did find it. The stamp set is called Spread the Joy and it is an online only stamp set designed by one of Stampin' Up's employees for a company-wide contest. I think it is just sweet! I have a link for the stamp set a little further down in this post.

This next card just, by Jackie Ross, has so much cute factor going for it!! Plus, look at the masking that was done in stamping the main image! Yikes!! Then, to do all that coloring . . . whew! Probably not…

9/25/13 Favorite Cards from Founder's Circle Part One

One of my favorite aspects of Founder's Circle is the AMAZING swap that most of us participate in. Last year I picked my five favorite cards to share with you and this year . . . I couldn't pick just five. So, I went with eleven!! The first six are Christmas cards and the five that I will share with you tomorrow are my five favorite non-Christmas cards. The card above is by Shelli Gardner and Sara Douglass. Just beautiful! It uses the stamp set O Holy Night on page 33 of the Holiday Mini. Love the Pretty Print Embossing Folder in the background, too.

This card went right to the "gotta case this" pile! It's a very sweet Santa inspired dress. Sara Wills created this card using the Dress Up Framelits and the stamp set called Tags 4 You. I just think this is so cute!! How about you?

Lee Conrey created this card . . . and I love it! Nice and easy with great sparkle. I don't have that sentiment from the set Joy to the World pictured in the Holiday Mini on page 24,…

9/24/13 Canyoneering Adventures at Founder's Circle

One of the activities I participated in this year while I was in St. George, Utah for Founder's Circle was an introductory course in Canyoneering. We were in the mountains at first light and even though I'd never repelled down a cliff before, I was able to do it with some confidence thanks to the great guides (Matt & Bryon) at Paragon Adventures.

This is our "show your muscles" picture - lol! LtoR: Brenda Keenan, myself, Rachel Tessman and Julie Davison. Notice the air under the rock? It was a suspended boulder over the canyon that we repelled down. The scenery was just amazing!

One of the downsides to our trip (which in the end was fun to reminisce over) was that it had rained quite a lot the week before so the gulches were filled with water . . . but what do you do? Only one way through! The picture above was through the second deepest section of water that we waded through. There was one bit where we were nearly up to our necks!
Check out the beauty of the…

9/23/13 Founder's Circle 2013 Calm Christmas Swap Card

This is my Founder's Circle Swap card. I made 120 of these cards! They were nice and easy but elegant, too, thanks to the Calm Christmas stamp set found on page 26 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. I really like the way the embossing folder looks like rays of light. This folder is found on page 22 of the Holiday Mini and it's a perfect accompaniment to this set. The Very Vintage button is threaded and bowed with Linen Thread and put onto the card with Glue Dots.

I did not add an inside panel to the Founder Circle cards, but if I had it would have looked like this. Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share! If you would like to browse the Holiday Mini Catalog online, just click on the button in my right side bar.

9/22/13 Founder's Circle Day Four

Day Four was the one I planned to do make and takes, but as usual, I did more talking than making! I did find time, however, to take a picture of one of my favorite displays . . .

and my favorite card that was on display. We have a beautiful floral set coming our way this spring!

Shelli Gardner wasn't able to be with us at Founder's this year because of a horse back riding accident so we made her a scrapbook with our This and That Book. We filled it with pictures, cards, love and well  wishes. Above is Colleen Magness and Susan Elise Morton taking a peek at the completed book.

Then it was off to wrap up our week with our Final Event . . . Duck Racing! Yup . . . we got down on the farm!!

We divided into teams and played games to win SU product prizes. Above is my team pictured with one of the cowboys on the farm. L to R: Jill Hilliard, Rachel Tessman, Josee Smuck, Michelle Zindorff, Lisa Bowell, and myself. The Malt Balls did mighty fine and got lots of prizes!

9/21/13 Stampin' Up! Founder's Circle Day Three

Before I start in on Day Three, I have to take you back to Day Two for just a couple of pictures. Above is my fellow Rising Star friend from 2009, Sarah Wills. We are at the pajama party swap/business share.

Some of my crazy fellow demonstrator friends in line for the swap. What a blast and the cards were so top notch. I will share my favorites next week.

Our bedtime snack . . . homemade ice cream in a cookie sandwich. YUM!! (not that I really needed any help falling asleep!!)

When I got back to my room that night, there was a beautifully wrapped canister. I couldn't wait to see what was inside!

I opened it up to find a gorgeous universal scarf! Thank you, Stampin' Up! I am sure my oldest daughter will be first in line to try it on when I get home as she is a bona fide scarf lover.

The next morning, Day Three, we were on the road to Kanab. We toured the manufacturing facility and I got to punch out a bunch of stamps with just one press.

Then we had the fun of putting the st…
