Before I start in on Day Three, I have to take you back to Day Two for just a couple of pictures. Above is my fellow Rising Star friend from 2009, Sarah Wills. We are at the pajama party swap/business share.
Some of my crazy fellow demonstrator friends in line for the swap. What a blast and the cards were so top notch. I will share my favorites next week.
Our bedtime snack . . . homemade ice cream in a cookie sandwich. YUM!! (not that I really needed any help falling asleep!!)
When I got back to my room that night, there was a beautifully wrapped canister. I couldn't wait to see what was inside!
I opened it up to find a gorgeous universal scarf! Thank you, Stampin' Up! I am sure my oldest daughter will be first in line to try it on when I get home as she is a bona fide scarf lover.
The next morning, Day Three, we were on the road to Kanab. We toured the manufacturing facility and I got to punch out a bunch of stamps with just one press.
Then we had the fun of putting the stamps into their boxes. I was good at that! (Although I am even better at taking them OUT of the boxes!!)
Yeah . . . our gift for coming to visit was a free stamp set!! (Festive Flurry, no less! A totally awesome!)
Everyone got to take their picture with Sara Douglass. Thank you, Sara!
After the tours and the delightful make and takes, we'd worked up an appetite! We had an excellent picnic lunch - my hamburger was just excellent and exactly what I'd been craving!
A trip to Kanab would not be complete with out a stop at the park. Here is a picture of all the MN Demonstrators at Founder's Circle. In back: Dawn Olchefske, Terri Gaines, Georgia Giguere and in front: Rachel Tessman and myself.
For our evening entertainment, we could go to the Tuacahn outdoor theatre to see Mary Poppins. It was a WONDERFUL production!
I sat next to my friend, Patty Bennett, and she shared a crazy good coconut trail mix snack with me. We should have had that in the picture, too; it really was that good!!
When we got back to our rooms after the theatre, we had another pillow gift! Such a beautiful presentation! Could that be a new framelit expressions on the way?
And check out the gift ... a ribbon scissors holder! It's absolutely stunning. Thank you, Stampin' Up!
