7/31 TODAY (7/31) is the Last Day to Get the Buy Three Get One Free Designer Paper Special!

Today, Wednesday, July 31, is the LAST DAY to get our Buy Three Get One Free Designer Series Paper Special. I also thought it would be a good day to showcase four of my favorite swaps from Convention . . . all of which show off our gorgeous designer series paper!

This first card, created by Denise Jorgensen, uses two stamp sets . . . Oh, Hello and Chalk Talk. I love the way she used the ribbon as a layer behind the sentiment on this card. The designer series paper is from the pack called Etcetera. She also used a sneak peak Holiday Mini product - check out those Chevron Shapes!! LOVE IT!!

Glenda Travelstead created this handsome manly card that is also quite mail-able. The isn't one poky embellishment on the whole card, yet the card itself causes you to take a second look because the So Ho Subway designer series paper is so arresting in the way it is used. Just fabulous!! Glenda punch and stamp bundle called Label Love which saves you 15%.

Another favorite of mine, that I used in last night's Card Buffet was this stunner by Brenda Hukriede. She used the Hexagon Punch to gather all her pieces for a delightful presentation of the Eastern Elegance designer series paper. Brenda used the stamp set called Itty Bitty Banners along with the coordinating framelit set called Bitty Banners.

And finally, this one from Natalie Travis, is a showstopper with the Modern Medley designer series paper. It was so popular at last night's Card Buffet that I had to cut more paper for it to meet the demand! Natalie used the stamp set called Flowering Flourishes. The sentiment is from the Hostess Set called Express Yourself.

I hope you enjoyed a snapshot of my favorites . . . all of which just happen to show off our fabulous two sided Designer Series Paper. Don't miss your chance to save on your favorites as today is the very last day of the Buy Three Get One Free Special. Have a GREAT day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!!

7/29 Candy Bar Wraps with a Video Tutorial

If you are looking for a sweet way to let someone know that you think they rock . . . consider making candy bar wraps. These five candy bars are wrapped in Stampin' Up!'s 2013-15 In Colors. The Just for You tag is from the stamp set called Label Love which can be bundled with the coordinating Artisan Label Punch. The flowers are made from the 2 3/8" and the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punches. There's a bit of coordinating Ruffle Stretch Trim and one of the gorgeous Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons. I made a video to show you how I did it. (really easy!!)

7/26 Cards for Crisis Nursery Part II

Here is a picture of our volunteers who stamped and assembled around 200 cards for Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery in just over two hours.

Linda Laurich (on the right), is my contact person with Crisis Nursery and also a frequent volunteer at Crisis Nursery. She was the one who told me of their need for 400 thank you cards that are sent to volunteers and donors. Of course, she was on hand to stamp and assemble, too!

20 bunches of 10 card packets ready for Crisis Nursery where they will be sent out to Crisis Nursery volunteers and donors. All made with care, love and prayer.

Have a great weekend and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share . . . I appreciate you!

7/25 Cards for Crisis Nursery Part One

I made a commitment earlier this year that my customers and down line would provide 400 thank you cards a year to Greater Minneapolis Crisis Nursery. Crisis Nursery works to end child abuse and neglect and create strong, healthy families. They support families in crisis 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They send thank you cards to hundreds of volunteers and donors throughout the year and that is where we come in! Above you can see the 20 shoe boxes, each of which contained 11 card sets ready to be stamped and assembled. 10 cards were donated and the eleventh card went home with the person who assembled it as a thank you. Below are pictures of all the cards we made.

I will share 10 more cards that we created tomorrow along with additional pictures of the Thank You Card Project volunteers.

My daughters Karel and Kasey were among the volunteers making cards for Crisis Nursery. It was fun stamping with them! Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by Stamping to Share!

7/24 Kind & Cozy Thinking of You with a Video Tutorial!

This is the card I made for one of the organized swaps at Convention. I cut very skinny strips of Coastal Cabana paper to use as a faux thread for the Vintage Faceted Button. That was a little putsy! I also used the backside of the Canvas paper to stamp the words and images . . . which gave it a nice home-spun look.

I really liked the way the card turned out so I decided to use it for our Cards for a Cause Fundraiser for the Dance Team at Concordia Academy. Instead of canvas, I substituted Shimmery White paper and used a larger rhinestone accent in place of the button. If you are interested in getting the measurements and in seeing how I did the stamping, you are welcome to watch the video below where I take you through how I stamped and assembled this card.

Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

7/19 Convention 2013 - Prizes, Recognition, Awards

Sara Douglass opened the day with a warm welcome and started off the prizes!!

Linda Watson with her prize - an awesome Christmas Bundle!

And then another prize patrol winner from our group . . . yeah Cindy Standal!!

And, before we knew it, we had another winner in our group!! Mary Bellis holds her collection of fun!! Yeah, Mary!!

Shelli demonstrated the Bow Maker Die today and showed us all kinds of great ideas for using it. My favorite was this one . . . super cute napkin holders. Just LOVE this!! Shelli had all kinds of great ideas for us today.

This card that Shelli shared with us has a sneak peek hidden in it!! Notice the way it folds and the sentiment? NEW STUFF coming our way soon!

Linda Watson earned admittance to the Recognition Room for 6 months of Stampin' Start with two associates! We are so proud of her!!

Our group picture minus two . . . pictured we have from left to right: Linda Watson, her husband John, Tasha Kast, Sharon Merritt, Debby Filiowich, Sue McNeill, Chris Glebus, Mary Bellis, Cindy Standal, Mary Kiley and myself. Missing from the photo our two best buds . . . Mary Smallidge and Judy Hamen. Off eating cupcakes at the party! lol!

And, another exciting moment for our Stamping to Share group was when they announced my name for Founder's Circle! We raised the rafter's!! YEAH! Here I am on stage with Shelli. (awesome - happy moment!)

One of my downline snapped this pic as we were lining up for the Founder's Circle picture. Lots of happy smiles!

After all the pictures . . . off we went to the 25th Anniversary Party. This cupcake was Sharon's perched on top of the baby stroller. They not only looked pretty  ... but they were absolutely delicious!!

When I got back to the room, I had to take a picture of the beautiful orchids on top of the beautiful purse and pocketbook and the Founder's Circle Congrats card. I'm on Cloud Nine. Thank you to my customers, my incredible downline and to my family for all the ways they support me. This achievement would not have happened without them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
