Sneak Peek: Fancy Foil Vellum in gold Stripes, Dots & Hearts!

One of the prettiest products in the Spring Occasions Catalog is the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum in selections of Gold or Silver. I love the way this sneak peek card came out because it has what I call an Earthy Elegance. You have the Wood Grain embossing folder as a backdrop over a Tangerine Tango card stock base. Then bring in a Tea Lace Doily and start layering! The vellum with cut out with the Floral Frames framelit collection. The center of the flower uses the Pancy Punch, a Vintage Faceted Designer Button and Gold Baker's Twine. The Sequins are another sneak peek: Gold Sequin Trim. It's easy to pull off individual sequins from the trim to accent your projects. The stamps are from Happy Watercolor which is also in the Spring Mini . . . all of which will be available to order starting January 3.

Sneak Peek: Happy Watercolor & new products in the Clearance Rack!!

I got this set as a gift at Founder's Circle this fall. It is called Happy Watercolor and I know it will be one of my "go to" sets. Almost anything you do with it turns out pretty!! The card above has a Pistachio Pudding base with layers of Whisper White and Sahara Sand. The Washi Tape is in gold and the trio has stripes, dots and a solid. I've used the stripes and solid on this card. You might also notice the button - one of the four sizes of our new basic metal buttons. The bow is from a new kind of Baker's Twine that has a thread of gold running through it. There is also a silver option available! The flower was stamped with Basic Gray ink and the watercolor overlay is stamped in Daffodil Delight. The dots are lightly stamped in Sahara Sand.

And guess what? The Clearance Rack was updated today with new items added to our Clearance Rack Blitz!! Don't hesitate to check it all out by clicking below!

Sneak Peek: Life in the Forest and Just Sayin'

What is life like in the forest? Will we ever know the answer to the question, "What does the fox say?"  Well . . . if you combine two new stamp sets from Stampin' Up! . . . Life in the Forest and Just Sayin', you can decide for yourself what the fox said! The Spring Mini Catalog goes "live" on January 3 and from now until then I will share sneak peeks. Enjoy!!

My favorite things about this card? The matching framelits that go with the stamp set called Just Sayin'. I also love the bright and open feel this card has. I used Bermuda Bay for the base card, a layer of  Crushed Curry and Shimmery White for the stamped panel and sentiment cut out.

December Demo Meeting Swap - Tags Part Two

Today we continue with our demo meeting swap of Tags Too Cute to Toss or Too Gorgeous for the Garbage. Irene's tag uses the Daydream Medallions stamp set with the coordinating framelits to create this sweet tag. The center stamp is from the Holiday Mini catalog set called Very Merry Tags.

When you flip Irene's tag over, she continued decorating with a great space for writing to and from.

Faith's tag shows off the lovely stamp set called Joyful Christmas. The flower is stunning! She stamped it with Silver Encore ink and topped it off with a Frosted Finishes accent piece.

Faith also went on to stamp and decorate the inside of the tag.

Sharon used the Big Shot machine with the Top Note Die to create this darling snowman! Love the Festive Flurry die cut on his hat and how clever to use a sponge dauber to make the pink cheeks!

Dawn made this tag for the swap pairing a Tea Lace Doily with an ovals collection cut out of our Red Glimmer paper followed up with a Scallop Oval Punch out from the Season's of Style paper.

The other side of Dawn's tag carries on the theme with the label punch out from the stamp set called Label Love.

Sue's snowman tag is very cute! I just love this stamp set from our Holiday Mini called Snow Day. I also love how quick and easy it would be to make this tag. I need quick and easy this time of year!

This tag is one of those that you have to keep looking at because there is so much to see! Foil, glimmer, pearls, embossing, burlap, twine . . . it all comes together just beautifully in Laura's tag!

Debby's tag that uses Lovely as a Tree with a framelit cutout from Apothecary Accents really shimmers and shines! It's created with a used dryer sheet and it is dazzling! How fun!!

And finally, this is my tag for the swap. I have a post on it along with all the ingredients I used to create it that you can see by clicking Joyful Christmas Tag.

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

December Demo Meeting Swap - Tags Part One

I have some of the most talented downline members! Our theme this month was Tags . . . Too Cute to Toss or Too Gorgeous for the Garbage! Enjoy the Awesomeness!

The first tag by Dorene, using the retired Two Tags Die for the base, shows off the Be Merry stamp available in the Christmas Assortment (134767). It's making me wish I would have gotten that as this is a super simple and quick tag to put together.

And, Dorene took the tag to a whole new level when she added the envelope made with the Envelope Punch Board on the back for tucking money or a gift card. I like the way she did the closure with the word window punch, too! She adhered the punch out on each side leaving the center area open so that the envelope flap can be tucked in, but still opened easily. (just love that!!)

Lee created this snowflake tag with the Festive Flurry stamp set and the coordinating framelits. It has a hidden window that she created with the next size down snowflake framelit.

When you lift it open . . . you find a spot to write your to and from! Very, very clever!!

Cindy also used the Festive Flurry Framelits with her tag, along with a couple of punches for a pop of color. The tiny tree punch out is from the Merry Minis Punch Pack (126882).

The tag that Cindy made can also be opened to reveal a place to write your to and from. Super cute!

Linda's tag took some time!! She made a fireplace shaped tag. The vellum is actually scored into bricks with her stylus and the Simply Scored Scoring Tool. She decorated her mantel with designer series paper cut outs. So sweet!

Mary's tag has wonderful dimension. I like how she used the Word Window Punch to make to and from tags. Mary also used the Festive Flurry stamp set and framelits. The silver glimmer paper really makes this tag shine and the photo really doesn't do the bling justice! even prettier IRL!

Liz made this festive Joyful Christmas tag in the traditional red and green colors of Christmas. I like the way she created a red mat for the sentiment which really makes it pop over the top of the green poinsettia.

Mary's tag uses a whole lotta Big Shot stuff!! You will notice the label framelit cut out, the designer folder to enhance the greeting, the Bitty Banner Framelit pieces and the Chalk Talk framelit. wow!! That's pretty cool as it . . .

but as you can see, Mary went one step further! When you lift up the sentiment piece, you find the spot for your to and from cut out with the Bracket Label Punch! That just rocks!

Elegance comes to mind when you see this tag by Marlys. She used Lovely as a Tree and embossed it white over Night of Navy. And, the back of the tag has delights of its own as you can see below!

I will have Part Two of our Stamping to Share Tag Swap tomorrow so please "stay tuned!"

Have a GREAT day and thanks so much for stopping by Stamping to Share! Oh, and don't forget to check out the new Weekly Deals just below!! Love those Weekly Deals!!

Festive Flurry Ornament Kit

I have just enough time before heading off to weekend activities to show you the tag box I made for a gift exchange with my Stamping to Share Downline Group. I used the Festive Flurry Ornament Kit to create the gorgeous snowflakes. It takes a while to hot glue everything so you have to be patient! I might be a slow worker, but I think it took me around two hours to create this box from start to finish and then I had four additional snowflakes left over from the kit to use as tags. (Well, actually three because I had what you would call a "trial and error" snowflake when I was first getting started that ended up in garbage! lol!)

Here is a close up view of the center of the wreath that adorns the tag box. I used the Expressions Thinlit Die with Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets and stuck the Silver Glimmer die cut onto a piece of vellum card stock that I cut to look like a banner. Where the snowflakes overlap the vellum on the left side is where I glued the banner onto the wreath.

I used one of my empty everyday occasions boxes and since only the outside edge of the glimmer paper shows, I cut out the center portion. I followed that frame layer up with a layer of Island indigo paper and that is what I glued the snowflakes onto. I just kind of squashed the snowflakes together and when they looked good, I lifted each up in place and glued it down. The banner was the finishing touch.

Some of my downline thought I should make another one and frame it and I was going to do that, but then I couldn't find just the right frame . . . but I was only looking around here at home. I might of had better luck going to a store! haha! Anyway, I did decide to make another one, but I made it just like the first one with the purpose of storing my Christmas tags in it. And, it does lean up nicely against the wall on a counter or a shelf to add a lot of sparkle and Christmas to cheer to any room.

Hope you are have a great weekend!! Thanks for stopping by Stamping to Share!!
