Stamping to Share Spring Mini Shoe Box Swap: Part Two
Hi Everyone!! Welcome to my Stamping to Share blog and part two of our Spring Mini Shoe Box Swap. Mary's card makes me want Spring. Right NOW!! lol! She used a new embossing folder called Scallops on the Tangerine Tango card stock. The flowers are form the new set called Petite Petals the coordinate with then new Petite Petals Punch. The leaves that you see in the back ground are from the Little Leaves Sizzlit die and they make nice accents to the punched out flowers.
The inside of Mary's card is as fresh and springy as the outside! I forgot to mention, the lovely designer series paper that is used on this card is called Retro Fresh and fresh it is!! One of my favorites in this catalog. In fact, I have plans to design a whole series of scrapbook pages around it for our Stamping to Share Spring Fling coming up in April.
This card by Cindy uses a new birthday set and it's called Another Great Year. I love how she stamped it right over the top of the Watercolor Wonder designer series paper. The candles in the corner are the perfect accent and they are quick and easy to color in with markers. I love the "mail-ability" of this card.
Debby's card is a celebration of Geometrics. In fact, the stamp set is called Geometrical! Of course, there is a coordinating Triangle Punch . . . gotto love that. (I love anything that coordinates and I'll bet you do, too!) Another thing that I love about this card are the chevrons down the left side and the bright Kaleidoscope designer paper peeking out from behind. Cheers!
Faith, a down line member who joined my group during the 25th Anniversary Celebration Starter Kit Special, used a Sale-a-bration Frreebie in a unique way. She took the Good as Gold card kit and cut it up so she could use the pieces in a whole new way! By doing this, she remade the cards into standard sized cards. The foil envelope liners were cut into arrows and punched into confetti. Faith is just so wonderfully creative with her supplies. (and as she tells me, she "has to be!" since she is just getting started!)
The inside panel of Faith's card is every bit as pretty as the outside. I love the scattering of confetti (adhered so they don't fall all over the place! lol!) and she stamped the Sale-a-bration stamp set called You're Lovely on an inside layer. Very pretty and I love that the inside of the card is as pretty as the outside.
Mary created a Swing card using the Circle Card Framelit. The patterned paper is from Birthday Basics. The sentiment is from the Sale-a-bration set called See Ya Later. Look how nicely that fits into the circle! That great cake along the side comes from the set called Birthday Cake. And, again we see that great banner punch. It's going to be a "must have item!"
When you swing open the card, the greeting that meets your eye is from the stamp set called Yippee-Skippee, one of my personal favorites in our annual catalog.
Didn't they all do such a great job? I am so impressed by their fine work and so proud to have them on my team. Thank you to my group and thank YOU for stopping by and checking out the swaps.
I'm at Leadership right now, but I'll be posting updates on my Stamping to Share Fan Page over on Facebook. Are you a fan, yet? Just click on Stamping to Share Facebook Fan Page and check it out. I'd love to have you "like" my page.
I will share the swap I made for the shoebox swap down the road when I have time to create a video with it.
