Stamping to Share Demo Meeting Swaps - July 2014 - Part One

Our swap theme for our regular meeting swap was "Anything Summer." Liz created this gorgeous butterfly card to share with us. I absolutely love the bright swipes of color on the butterflies from the stamp set called Papillon Potpourri. The sentiment is from the stamp set called Kinda Eclectic.

Notice how the butterflies have a perfectly colored stenciled shadow below their wings? Liz made a stencil and sponged in colors to match the butterflies. What a wonderful technique to make this card a "wow card!"

Debby used the Bubble Wrap technique to create this bright and summery card. I love that the bubbles are never ending. You have the stenciled bubbled, the punched out bubbles and the embossed bubbles! The sentiment is from the Make Note Rotary Stamp. If you would like to take a look at the three Rotary Stamps that Stampin' Up! carries, you will find them all pictured on page 191 in the current catalog.

Dawn made a flip card using the Circle Card Thinlit Die. You will find Moonlight Designer Series Paper, Lovely as a Tree and Lost Lagoon all coordinating in a beautiful way on this card. Yay, You is a sentiment from the now retired Spring Mini stamp set called Pomp & Circumstance.

Chris used markers in some bright summery colors to create a very striking butterfly card. The colorful background panels are embossed with the Argyle Embossing Folder. The stamp set that Chris used is called Swallowtail.

Sue used the new What's Your Type photopolymer stamp set to create this very bright and cheery "sun fun" card. She had a very good idea for this stamp set, she took a picture of the alphabet on display on page 161 and printed it out to store right in the case with the stamps in her stamp set. That way, whenever she want to  make words with this stamp set, she will have her guide handy and save lots of time in the process. Thanks, Sue, for sharing that idea with us at the meeting!

This is the inside panel of Sue's Sun Fun card. The stamp set that she used here is found on page 159 and is called Ray of Sunshine. I just love the variety of sentiments in this stamp set!!

And, finally, my card! You can see all the information as well as a complete video tutorial by clicking HERE.
