Decorated Petite Cafe Gift Bag with Merry Everything with How To Video & More Pics from Founder's Circle 2014

I love the Petite Cafe Gift Bags in this year's Holiday Mini. They are like mini coffee bean bags of the likes that you would find at Caribou or Starbucks. The inside has a non-toxic food safe liner. They come ten to a bag and you can do so much with them. I decorated them quickly and cutely! Check out the video below for measurements and the step by step.

On our third day at Founder's Circle we went to Kanab for a visit to the Manufacturing Plant. This was something I was very much looking forward to because I wanted to see how Photopolymer stamps were made.

When we arrived, the employees were standing outside waiting to give us cheers and high fives! We divided into groups and my group went to the make and take area where we worked on Project Life pages.

When we started our tour, one of the first things we saw was the big box of chipped up rubber. All the excess rubber is donated to places where children might be in danger of falling. You will see one of the parks in Kanab where we stopped to this in action.

We watched ink pads being made.

And we got to see HUGE stacks of paper waiting to be cut!

After the paper is cut, it is packaged here.
It's pretty nifty to see this action! It's very fast!

Here's the Photopolymer area. After the polymer is put over a negative of the stamp image, it is followed up with another image for the "backside" of the stamp. That is what you see above.

When the polymer has hardened in the "open" areas, the rest of the liquid is drained off to be re-used. This is a picture of the draining process.

When the stamps are completely drained and rinsed off, they have to pass "inspection." Stampin' Up! is very, very picky about making sure each image is perfect.

When the stamps pass inspection, they are cut up and put into cases ready for us to use. The whole process was very fascinating. I definitely enjoyed learning about this process!

After out tour, we had a BBQ with the employees and then it was on to the park for a bit of fun. This is my friend Sandy Carlson from ND. We are in a Leader's Group together and I was so excited when she earned Founder's Circle for the first time this year! Congrats again, Sandy!!

I needed a new profile pic for my Stamping to Share Face Book Page. Have you "liked" it yet? Please come on over and check it out!

We had a great bus ride back to the hotel. We played Bingo and I couldn't stop winning!! So much fun. But, I gave some of my prizes away - when you are blessed, you will be doubly blessed by sharing those blessings!! (A life tip from my parents!)

When we arrived back, we walked into the Gathering Area to a great big pile of Christmas stocking! The stockings were filled with candied popcorn. The perfect afternoon treat.

Some of the goodies from our fun day in Kanab.

The employees at the hotel's front desk were in the Holiday Spirit, too! I loved the "elf" and the ugly Christmas sweaters were a hoot! That evening, I went with friends to see the Wizard of Oz at Tuacahn Theater. It was awesome. LOVE that part of our trip to Founder's Circle!

And finally, another sweet Pillow Gift to wrap up our day. And guess what . . . it was a pillow!! So cute for the couch in December.

And here is another of my favorites from the Founder's Circle Swap . . . a cute Halloween card created by Tami White using the Tee-Hee-Hee stamp set. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I truly appreciate you!!

Tomorrow, I will be taking the day off from blogging so I can get ready for an upcoming event. I'll be back on Monday with more to share! Have a great weekend!
