Demo Meeting Technique Swap Cards Part One

At our November Stamping to Share Downline Meeting, our swap focus was on techniques. I'm thrilled to share some of these awesome cards with you - enjoy!!

Liz created a very pretty card with a ribbon slider. She used the stamp set called Kinda Eclectic.

When you slid the ribbon down the card a bit to open it, you find out that the top panel actually folds upward into an easel card! Oh what fun! I also really liked the beautiful butterfly accented with the rope pearls . . . so elegant.

Mary created this Inside Step Card using Bright and Beautiful ad decorated it with the All is Calm Specialty Designer Series Paper and decorated it with a multitude of stars.

Faith used Seasonally Scattered to make this Merry Christmas card. She showed us how we can use StazOn White on our cards for quick card that doesn't smear and doesn't require heat embossing. There is a scattering Frosted Sequins and the larger snowflakes are from the Snowflake Card Thinlits Die.

Judy used a background stamp called "I Love Lace" and with one inked impression, created all the layers on this card with the Triple Time Stamping Technique. The Blackberry Bliss ink, paper and ribbon from the 2014-16 In Color makes this card so nice and on trend! The sentiment is from Chalk Talk.

Marlys used the hostess set called Bloom with Hope to create this beautiful Embossed Resist card. The little sprig emerging from the flowers is a punch out from the Two Step Bird Punch and the sentiment is from Perfect Pennants. This card will surely bring cheer to someone on a gloomy day.

Diana shared this lovely card that uses the technique called the Pillow Puff Background Technique. Wow!! It really does look like a pillow . . . and to think is all in the way you sponge it! Diana has a window sheet overlay on which the butterflies from Papillon Potpourri are heat embossed in white. The layered sentiment from Yippee Skippee hides where you would attach the Window Sheet to the card.

I just can't get over what lovely cards my downline create for our monthly swaps. I'm so lucky to be a part of this awesome group!! Stay tuned for tomorrow when I share part two of our Technique Swap Cards!

Thank you for sharing yours and your ladies talents, Kay! Love seeing all of the ideas. Does Mary have a website that she might share instructions of how she did the inside step card? Thanks in advance for your response!

These cards are beautiful! Is there any way you could ask the ladies if they wouldn't mind posting on their blogs so we could understand the techniques too? Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ladies -
Thank you so much for interest!! Unfortunately, very few of my downline have blogs. So sorry to disappoint. You could try googling the various techniques for further help. Hugs!!
