Diana gifted us with an additional swap card! She really enjoys making cards that feature various techniques. The card above is the Painter’s Tape Technique. The stamp set is called Too Kind.
Sponging a background is always a wow technique and Dawn’s card has generated lots of enthusiasm from my customers! Of course Lovely as a Tree is a beloved classic that we never seem to tire of.
Mary’s card used Nordic Noel Designer Series paper and the Tea Bag Folding Technique to create this lovely Christmas card.
And, when you look closer . . . there’s another technique that Mary used on the panel behind the tree! Mary called it the Body Scrubby Technique! She took one of those nylon body scrubbies and lightly sponged ink onto the Whisper White panel. It looks a bit like Confetti card stock.
Sue created this gorgeous card by embossing the entire front panel (after it had been stamped with Ornamental Pine, accented with a gel pen and heavily sponged) with Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder. It’s quite a know out in person when you can see that the whole card is glittering!
Mychelle created this Watercolored Embossing Folder technique card for us and actually demonstrated this technique at our meeting. She did a GREAT job and I was able to take her idea and run with it, creating this card HERE for my clubs this month. The flower is from Mixed Bunch.
Linda used the stamp set Gentle Peace, embossed in gold on Vellum Card Stock and then colored from behind with our Blendabilities. I love the Soft Sky base . . . it makes this card look so soft and elegant.
Cindy’s card shows off Inlaid Die Cuts in an embossed frame. It’s a beautiful, but somewhat fussy technique that involves a lot of time at the Big Shot Machine! But the results were truly a WOW!! She used the Flowerpot Designer Series Paper with the Flower Fair Framelits to create this stunning card.
Have a great day and stay tuned. I will share my card for the technique swap tomorrow along with a How To Video!
