Stamping to Share Shoebox Swap Cards - Part One
My downline group, Creative Crafters Stamping to Share, recently had a Shoebox Swap where we all got together and put together each others cards for an evening. Our focus was on the 2015 Occasions Catalog. Here is Part One of that endeavor. Enjoy!
Liz picked the stamp set called You Plus Me for her card. I love the heart balloon accented with strips of paper from the Stacked with Love Paper Stack. The center panel features the new Happy Heart Embossing Folder and there's Stacked with Love Washi Tape on either side of that.
Cindy's card used the stamp set called Moon Lake for a cute & retro Etch a Sketch card. The sentiment at the top of the card is from the Memorable Moments stamp set which then allows us to complete the saying as we wish. The main image is stamped on our White Vellum Card Stock.
Laura's card is so wonderfully elegant and it shows off one of the new die cuts from the Butterflies Thinlits. Whisper White paired with Blackberry Bliss accented with three rhinestones. The sentiment is from the stamp set called A Dozen Thoughts.
Kim's card makes Calypso Coral light up with accents of black and red. She used the stamp set called You Plus Me and outlined one of the hearts with a retired stamp from the set called Hearts a Flutter to give it a perfect pop. The sentiment is layered with a Deco Framelit die over a Circle Framelit cut out. The paper strips are from the Stack with Love Paper Stack.
Chris's card uses the new wedding set called Your Perfect Day. The background paper was cut out with an oval framelit first and then embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder. The cake was quickly stamped and colored and then cut out with the next oval down for a lovely layered look.
Sue used a sentiment from the stamp set called Painted Petals. Her background paper is from the coordinating paper pack called Painted Blooms. The butterfly, cut with the Butterflies Thinlits, is sponged for a two-toned look that really brightens up this card.
Gentle colors, a unique gate fold and delicate dies adorn this elegant card by Faith. If you click on the picture, you will see a closer view and you'll notice that even the wax paper from the Butterflies Thinlit is used to give this card a light airy feel. The ferns are from the stamp set called Butterfly Basics and the cut out sentiment is from the Thinlits Dies called Hello You.
Irene's card uses a delightful mix of "lovely" goodies. She main sentiment is from That's the Ticket which you will find in our main catalog layered over a square from the Stacked with Love paper stack. There are Red Glimmer paper heart punch outs and the sprinkling of stamped hearts that you see if from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set. The dots are from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.
If you like this . . . tune back in tomorrow for part two of our Shoebox Swap! Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share. I truly appreciate you!
