Stampin' Up! Berry Basket Die Plus the How To Video
This is the basket my club member made this past week and it is just so adorable!! You will be able to fit quite a lot of candy into this basket, or even a small gift. The basket opening is about 4" square and it's 2 1/2" deep.
I didn't chat too much about the tag or the flower that decorates the basket, but I do have a tip for you regarding the tag that I should have mentioned! To keep the embossing powder from sticking to the Window Sheet it is important the you do not have oils on your fingers while you handle the window sheet. If you do have smudges or smears on the window sheet, you may get stray flakes of embossing. So, this is how I prevented that.
First, I cut the window sheet into the tag shape that I wanted using the Chalk Talk Framelits and my Big Shot Machine. Then, I spritzed the tag with Rubbing Alcohol and dried it thoroughly with a Kleenex. I stamped the sentiment from Best Day Ever with VersaMark onto the Window Sheet tag. Next, I sprinkled the white embossing powder over the Window Sheet and it fell right off everywhere except where I had stamped with VersaMark. Success! Then I used my heat tool to melt the embossing powder onto the tag. And, I think it's so pretty, don't you? Enjoy the basket making part of this project in the How To Video below:
