Stampin' Up! Sheltering Tree with Woodland Embossing Folder

Thank you, Josie Schneider, for generously sharing your creations on our private Stamping to Share Downline Group page on Facebook. She perfected this technique a few weeks ago and shared it on our group page. All of us were so impressed that she was using her Woodland Embossing Folder in this way.

What she does is stamp leaves from Sheltering Tree onto the de-bossed side of the embossed paper panel. The next thing you know, you have a card that celebrates the wonderful season of fall! But it could just as easily be spring or summer with a change of ink color.  Josie totally inspired me to give this technique a try and I have all the information in the video below so that you can give it try, too.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out the latest weekly deals.

Sept Stamping to Share Downline Swap Part Two

This is the second half of the Stamping to Share Downline Swaps with the Holiday 2015 Mini Catalog as its theme. Enjoy!!

Cindy's card features the stamp set Every Blessing (which is actually in the Annual Catalog) and it make a lovely religious card to send out at Christmas. I love the stars in the background which are from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set (also in the Annual Catalog).

Susan's card combines the Woodland Embossing Folder with the Seasonal Frame Thinlits Dies for a great fall card that transitions into Thanksgiving. I love the way she used a sponge dauber to highlight the trees and added just a scattering of colorful leaves.

Dawn's card takes the sentiment from Your Presents and pairs it up with die cuts from our Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies. Cut from our Silver Glimmer and Red Foil papers, the detailed ornaments truly create a striking Christmas card. The candy cane paper on the left is from the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum pack.

Sept Stamping to Share Downline Swap Part One

Our theme for our Stamping to Share Downline Swap in September was "Anything Goes . . . as Long as it's the Holiday Catalog!" See the lovely creations below and I know that you, too, will be as inspired as I am by my Stamping to Share Downline group. Have a great day and a great weekend. I'll schedule part two to post tomorrow so stay tuned!!

Faith's card features the bundle that includes the Reason for the Season photopolymer stamp set with the coordinating Festive Flower Builder Punch. The white Poinsettia flowers lightly stamped with soft sky contrast beautifully with the leaves and the red background. The small pearls added an elegant touch.

Sue's card has a snowy background and a drift of snow at the base of trees that appears to sparkle in the moonlight. (Thank you glimmer paper!) She used the stamp set called Sheltering Tree by brought "in the new" with the sentiment from Wonderland.

Do you plan to be "Home for Christmas"? Who woul…
