Stamping to Share Sale-a-bration Card Swap - Part Two

This is part two of our Sale-a-bration Swap which was part of our Stamping to Share January Gathering. The only card not on here yet is my own card, which I will share with you on Monday along with the how-to video. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Diana's card is so bright and pretty . . . just perfect for a birthday party with all those balloons from the Birthday Bash Specialty paper pack. She did a beautiful job coloring the the punched out sentiment from the Big Day stamp set and I really like the way the ice cream sentiment is stamped of to the side . . . almost like an afterthought - which "perhaps" it is! lol!

Dawn made a treat box with the Gift Box Punch Board. The sweet tag features a sentiment form the Sale-a-bration set called Simply wonderful. No doubt about it, you will considered a "Simply Wonderful" friend when gift away a beauty like this!

Pin  Wheels always add a little fun to the day and they can play the starring role on a birthday card such as this one! Chris made the pinwheel and accented it with a button and ribbon from the Best Ever Accessories pack. The sentiment is from Big Day.

Irene's card is really pops with the Calypso Coral accents. LOVE the colored doily and the Petite Petals punch outs. The sentiment and background dots are from the Sale-a-bration set called Best Day Ever.

Liz's card is just 3x3 but it is packed with goodness! The confetti paper is from Birthday Bash Specialty paper and the sentiment is from the Simply Wonderful Stamp set. I could totally see this sweet card going into a gift bag for the graduate this spring. The ribbon is from the Best Year Ever Accessories pack.

You know it's a "Big Day" when you get a card like this! Mary's card features tumbling cakes and a gorgeously "colored and twined" tag. What a great card to celebrate someone's Big Day! The colors are from the 2013-15 In Color Collection.

Mary's card shows us how well the Big Day stamps pair with the Deco Labels Framelit Collection. Love the layers and the bright Hello Honey background which looks just dashing with the Coastal Cabana card base and ribbon accent. The designer series paper that you see partying in the background is also a Sale-a-breation item called Best Year Ever

And last but not least, Cindy's card showcases the Sale-a-bration resist paper called Irresistibly Yours. You can sponge it, brayer it, stamp on it, mist over it, and even leave it all plain and elegant! There's just so many fun ways to use it and it's one of my personal Sale-a-bration faves. Cindy's image, which you may or may not recognize is found in the Tea Party set in the Annual Catalog.

Watch for my card on Monday along with a How To video. Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by Stamping to Share!

Stamping to Share Sale-a-bration Card Swap - Part One

Our January Stamping to Share Swap was to select a Sale-a-bration set and make something with it. Half of us selected the Lotus Blossom to showcase so I decided to group all of the Lotus Blossom sets together in one post. I'll follow up with another post tomorrow that will showcase other Sale-a-bration options.

How does Sale-a-bration work? All you have to do is place a Stampin' Up! order with your demonstrator that equals at least $50 before shipping/handling and tax. You get one Sale-a-bration item for each $50 product increment on your order.

Our first card is by Sue and didn't she do a GORGEOUS job stamping those flowers? Lost Lagoon and Old Olive are a stunning combination on this card. The sentiment is punched out with the Decorative Label punch.

Debby's card is so elegant, like finding an unexpectedly beautiful flower in the moonlight. The layer colors start with a base of Wisteria Wonder, then it's a layer of Night of Navy, then a layer of Smokey Slate and finally Whisper White for the stamped layer. The flower is stamped in various shades of Night of Navy ink.

Elegant Eggplant with Wisteria Wonder is always going to be a winner. Mary's card captures the beauty of a single lotus blossom by encapsulating it within the tall Apothecary Accent die. She used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border to anchor the image over a flood of embossed Decorative Dots.

Dorene's card really flows. The flowers draw your eyes right to the popped up heart and then around and up to the sentiment from the set called You Plus Me. The colors on this card are Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding. Such a pretty, fresh and springy combo.

But, this card also has a surprise! When you pull on the heart, the heart spins around and around like it's all "Twitterpated!" Love that!

Laura's card combines some artful tearing with beautifully stamped images in Elegant Eggplant. The Linen Thread is a lovely touch to anchor this heavenly card with a bit of elegant earthiness. I think this card would be nice to make in multiples . . . and the sentiment could be varied to fit the occasion.

PERFECT colors for Valentines Day!! Faith's cards is done up in Strawberry Slush, Real Red and Wild Wasabi. I love the punched Hearts Border along the side that is accentuated with 1/8" Gold Ribbon. The sentiment is from Sheltering Tree and the leaves are from Crazy About You.

Kim's striking thank you card really showcases the sentiment and I love the way the flower is leaning in towards the center. Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper is along the left and the polka dot paper is from the 2013-15 In Color 12x12 Patterns pack.

Our final Lotus Blossom card by Mychelle looks so royal with Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant. The sponging adds depth and helps the light pop behind the flowers.. An elegant thank you card that is easily created by attaching the stamped layer behind the ripped card base layer.

Stay tuned for Part Two tomorrow!

Crazy About You with Best Year Ever Paper and Accessories with How To Video

Here's a sweet and cute birthday card that showcases the stamp set called Crazy About You. I used the Sale-a-bration Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper and Accessories. This stamp set coordinates with the Flower Medallion Punch and the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch. However, on this card, I used the Boho Blossoms punch to create a "center" for my flower which is then accented with a button and a bow. Enjoy the how to video!!
