Stamping to Share August Swap Cards Part Two "Cards for Kids"

Today I'm sharing Part Two of our two-part post on Cards fro Kids, our Demo Meeting Swap Theme in August. Enjoy!

Mary's card is super bright and colorful featuring the stamp set called Cupcake Party. I love the way she plays the dots on this card from the Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper to the Large Dots Embossing Folder to the base of the cup cakes.

Dawn's card has some cute and colorful images from Zoo Babies for her kid's card. The sweet looking printed paper is from the 6x6 paper stack called Pretty Petals.

Faith's card features an adorable dog gazing at a balloon. All of the images are from the stamp set called Hey Girl. The colorful paper is from the 6x6 paper stack called Cherry on Top.

Marlys used circle punches on her Decorative Dots embossed panel to create Peek-a-Boos to the Cherry on Top paper fastened below. Then she used her cupcake punch on the same paper to create her main image accent.

Dorene's card uses the stamp set Boys Will Be Boys to create the stamped background along with her main image. I love his colorful lights! The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations.

Katherine's card features the ballerina from Talented Trio. She uses three sparkling rhinestone accents and the skirt is stamped separately, colored, cut out and raised on dimensionals.

And that's all for this round. Thank you so much for stopping by, I truly appreciate it!!

Stamping to Share August Swap Cards Part One "Cards for Kids"

Our swap theme for August for our Stamping to Share group of demonstrators was "Cards for Kids." I'm excited to share all the bright and colorful cards with you!

Sue's card features an artist with her paint brushes from the stamp set called Talented Trio. I love the way she paired it up with Gorgeous Grunge for the paint splashes.

Laura's card shows off a bright and colorful cupcake closure from the Ronald McDonald stamp set called Sprinkles of Life.

Linda's card features the stamp set called No Bones About it. I love the tone on tone Sahara Sand stamping she did for the bones and the bold black images she used on the sentiment panel.

This punch art card was created by Karen. Love the cute details she added with her fine tip pen from Project Life and the White Gel pen. The stamp sets she used are from No Bones About It and Guy Greetings . . . and then she added in a couple of additional words with her Cucumber Crush marker.

Cindy made a kite card that features an image from the stamp set called Boys Will Be Boys. The "eyes" on this robot are basic rhinestones that seem to "light up!"

This kite card has a velcro closure and it easily opens up to reveal the inside birthday sentiment.

Minion, anyone? Yup! Here's a cute one created by Debby. She did a little punch art and accented it with some stamped balloons. The sentiment is from Sassy Salutations.

Stay tuned for Part Two tomorrow!

Best Thoughts on a Spritzed Background with How To Video

The host-only stamp set called Best Thoughts looks divine on a spritzed background. I will take you though the step by step in the how-to video below. I was inspired to create the embellishment at the top of the card from my beautifully decorated Founder's Circle Itinerary that I received from Stampin' Up! the other day.

I love everything about this packet and I think it is so cool that Stampin' Up! coordinated the clutch to the bag we received at Convention for earning Founder's Circle. The embellishment at the top of the information packet is much, much cuter in real life. On the pic, the foil looks yellow but in real life, it is a lovely, shiny gold with a little pennant of gold glimmer. Enjoy the video!! And, thanks for stopping by to see what I've been up to!!
