Part Two: April Demo Meeting Swaps with a Feminine Touch
This is Part Two of my two part post to share our Stamping to Share Meeting Swaps. Our theme this month was to create cards with a Feminine Touch. If you missed part one, you can see them by clicking on Stamping to Share Downline Swaps Part One.
Kim Lundstrom created this card with the So In Love stamp set. I love the way she created her own background paper with the images in this stamp set. I also love the way she layered the oval cut sentiment over the top of Stitched Shape Oval. The baker's twine and metallic sequins are the perfect finishing touches on this card.
Cindy LeMire created this elegant Wiper Card with all kinds of sweet, feminine touches! The stamp set she used was That's the Tag. The lacy die cut behind the sentiment is from the So Detailed Thinlit Die set.
Here is the card with the Wiper moved to the upward position. She used the Succulent Framelits to create the pretty flower on the wiper piece.
Stacey Krats got creative with the Special Reason Bundle. I wish I could have shown this card to you in person because each one of the stamped flowers is coated in Wink of Stella for amazing shimmer and shine. A very elegant and feminine Mother's Day card.
Mychelle Rossberg used the Watercolor Wash stamp set with Daffodil Delight ink on Whisper White paper before gluing on her rose cut out with the Rose Garden Thinlits. Then she carefully hand trimmed the paper to be even with the die for a beautiful Yellow Rose Easter card.
This card by Faith Boston used the Crazy About You stamp set. Unfortunately, the DSP was from a pack from last year's Sale-a-bration and is now retired. However, the Blooms & Bliss paper pack could easily be substituted. The butterfly die cut is from the Bold Butterfly Framelits.
Shelly Lommel used the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle to create this card. i love the way she used the dots from this set to create a wonderful backdrop with three different ink colors. The same inks are reflected in the wings of the vellum dragonfly cutout.
This is the card I created for our swap. I used the Oh So Succulent Bundle to make this card. I featured it on one of my Fab Friday posts along with a coordinating box that I made to go with it. You can see the post by clicking on Oh So Succulent Bundle with a Window Box.
Thanks so much for stopping by. It was great fun to share these swaps with you. Have a great weekend!!
