I enjoy Color Challenges and this one was a winner with me. I just love how gorgeous these colors are and together . . . just breathtaking! The Diva Coffee Break Design Team also had beautiful eye candy in these colors on their blog so be sure to check them out!

I decided to go with one of Shelli’s “signature” sets . . . Razzle Dazzle. Shelli Gardner is Cofounder and CEO of Stampin’Up and when you page through the Idea Book and Catalog, you might notice a sweet little heart beside some of the stamp sets or accessories. That heart means Shelli particularly likes that item because it reflects her personal style or makes creativity more simple and fun.
I used our new In Color markers to ink up the floral swirl. I really appreciate the smoothness of our Whisper White paper – it just makes your image “pop.” The pale plum panel is paper pierced with the aid of our mat pack and a paper piercer. This panel is also sponged with Pale Plum for some added dimension, but that extra touch didn’t show up so will in the picture. The sentiment is from a FREE set that I recently earned from SU called Fundamental Phrases. It is stamped on textured Bermuda Bay card stock using a Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect placement. I used the backside of Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon as an accent on my Bermuda Bay panel and the half-back pearls are from the Pretties Kit that SU sells.

The inside of my card shows of a length of ribbon and the flower swirl is repeated. I almost always finish my inside panel, but most of the time I forget to photograph it. Is this something you would like to see more of in the future? Let me know by a comment. Thank you!

absolutely amazing Kay! I am so glad you played along- the colors work perfectly like this. you've mastered them and this set! I love the inside too and am glad you showed it. I often don't do the inside but know I should. This motivates me to work harder at that. Now, if the inside was just over-the-top then I'd just feel intimidated and it wouldn't motivate me at all, but yours is just perfect!
